Large victorian home 15 mins from downtown lots of local restaurants and bars

Great place to stay

Space is very open and great for hosting. Issues we had include the basement bathroom light did not work (had to use with the door open), we counted 1 less bed than advertised (5 total), and the kitchen was only moderately stocked, no paper towels, dish soap, or cleaning supplies.

The house was as advertised as far as what was seen in the pictures. Some of the light bulbs/fixtures were not operational, but the house as a whole was very clean and accommodating. Communication with the host was quick and straightforward.

Good location and very spacious. The top floor has a nice layout and we appreciated having 2.5 bathrooms. On street parking was readily available.Host did not share check in information until 3 hours before check in, and after repeated inquiries. As we were all traveling to this location that day, it was an added and unnecessary stressor. The building is for sale and clearly remodeled in a quick flip (cheap or non-functional fixtures), The main living room tv would not work even after days of attempting to connect to the WiFi. Soap was provided in only one bathroom, also no dish soap or sponges. Ample glasswear, but a toaster would be nice. Cleaning supplies (mop, buckets, etc.) left sitting out in the kitchen area. The outdoor area had trash on it. Lower level had dismantled ping pong table and appliances ready for install sitting out in the living area. For the price, it was disappointing. The upstairs occupants blasted music until 4 a.m. for both nights of our stay. I understand the host cannot control neighbors but it was pretty disappointing all in all.
