Puerta del Mar is a bright and spacious ocean view villa of 177sq2 located on the south part of Holbox Island. It’s just steps away from Holbox’s turquoise beach and a 25 minutes’ walk to downtown. The villa is a little gem nestled in nature's mangroves of Punta Cocos, one of the most beautiful beaches of the island and famous for its incredible bioluminescence. Located in Punta Cocos national park, the house offers a unique experience of nature with pink flamingos, eagles and other colorful tropical birds flying above.
The villa is the perfect place for those looking to disconnect and enjoy nature, while still being close to town to enjoy Holbox’s shopping, restaurants, and nightlife.
Puerta del Mar features 3 large private suites with air conditioning, 3 bathrooms, 1 Seaview panoramic living space, a spacious fully equipped kitchen and a dining area with a custom wood dining table for 8 people.
Each suite has air-conditioning, king bed, hanging closet, toiletries, towels, hair dryer.
Our house offers minimalist wood interiors, natural on-trend furnishings, airy vaulted ceilings that get plenty of natural light, glass doors open to a private pool and a cozy patio area. The pool is a must after a day of excursion to relax & refresh yourself!
In the garden our pétanque (bocce) field is the perfect fit after a day at the beach to have fun with friends and family.
The panoramic living space on the top floor offers a breath-taking Seaview with glass doors open to a spacious balcony, ideal for relaxing morning coffee or to enjoy a cocktail at sunset. It features a stylish wood bar with modern high stools, a living area with a sofa bed, a film projector & movie screen perfect for a cinema night with ocean breeze!
There is Wi-Fi (Starlink) in the whole property- Cleaning is included at check-in and checkout.

Stylish and airy beach house. We, a family with grown-up children, loved our stay but worth mentioning that we didn’t use the pool at all because it looked worn and there were swarms of mosquitoes outside the house. The house is very close to the island’s luminescence beach but a 30min walk or 10min, costly golf cart ride to the town centre.
