Hear the sounds of the waves from this cozy cottage in the Salt Aire community. Take a 5 minute stroll through a wooded privately kept neighborhood HOA beach trail to the dunes and onto a peaceful beach. Rain or shine this well kept cottage is near miles of beach walking in a quiet community. Enjoy a book, game, or puzzle from the collection or drive into nearby Grayland or Westport shops, sights, hikes, and boating (
A little about the house:
VERY CLEAN HOME, we employ an amazing licensed professional cleaner with 8+ years of experience. After each stay, stringent cleaners are used on high touch surfaces and linens are washed in hot water as well as dried on high heat.
Updated open concept living/dining/kitchen space with plenty of comfortable seating and a cozy electric fireplace. Full dining table and breakfast bar complete with fish placemats. Enjoy streaming our DISNEY+ subscription and your favorite apps with our high speed internet and Amazon Fire Stick!
Large master bedroom with KING bed, office space, and attached bath. Listen to the waves while you telework!
Family friendly features including pack n play plus mattress, beach toys, board games, puzzles, large dollhouse, trucks and more! Breakable items strategically placed out of reach for the little ones.
New luxury vinyl plank flooring and small area rugs. Sorry no pets due to owner allergies.
Rhododendrons and roses surround the spacious backyard with patio and firepit for roasting marshmallows after walking back from a beach sunset.
You have three different options for quick access to the nearby beach!
First, we are at the end of a culdesac with a private neighborhood path that leads you through a forested beach trail and onto a gorgeous dune walk right onto the beach (5 to 10 minute stroll). Our 4 and 7 year old love this trail; look for the "beach" sign and wood bird on an old pier pillar with ropes.
Second, you can access another close by entrance on the paved street, good for strollers, scooters, bikes, and other wheels. Just head down our block and turn right onto Marine Drive (10 minute walk) until you run into the beach access sign. There are several benches for viewing the amazing sunsets! You can also park next to this access point if you prefer a 1 min drive.
Third, drive 2 miles south (5 minutes) to the entrance at Cranberry Beach Road where you can drive right onto the beach.
