Perfect for an intro to the experience of boat life

We thoroughly enjoyed this property and our stay.

Unique experience and great value! I was overwhelmed by the long email with all the rules and information, but Sherri was great and made everything easy to understand. Had a bit of a hiccup right off the bat, as we were initially checked into the wrong boat. Luckily, I pointed out the discrepancy and it was corrected right away. The only trouble at that point was that the incorrect boat was ready, but ours wasn't. In the meantime, we were able to drop off our luggage and go explore. The area is highly walkable, quiet, and we felt safe at all times during our stay. One of the Old Town Trolley stops is nearby, as is the Freedom Trail. Best breakfast nearby was Tatte Bakery and we had pizza delivered from Brewer's Fork - highly recommended! I worried about being seasick on the boat, but thankfully, it wasn't an issue. It took a good 3 days upon departure to feel like I wasn't on the boat, however. Checkout was confusing, as instructions posted on fridge differed from verbal instructions given by Sherri, but host was quick to respond and clarify. Shower is very tiny. Bed was very comfortable. Took some troubleshooting to figure out the TV, but it worked just fine. Overall, pretty great stay!

There are several minor things that arecheap fixes that could have made the stay better. -There was no where tohang our wet towels in the bathroom. -The shower curtain liner was moldy. -The bed pillows were very old and horribly flat, new pillows would be less than 20.-We went to use the toaster oven and the pan was filthy with grease andold food - we tried to clean it but the Palmolive was so watered down itwas inadequate. (The bathroom hand soap was also watered down.) -When we given the “tour” by Sherry, the air conditioning filters were covered with dirt and dust - we took them down, she swept them off with a broom and then I washed them by hand. -The outside patio table was covered in pollen-We sat our suitcases on the floor as all the storage/ closet space was taken with supplies-None of the blinds were able to be opened as the all of the blind wands were broken, they could only go up and down. -There is a missing picture on thebedroom wall and Velcro strips left behind that pulled out my hair when I leaned against it- We did not use the sofa bed as it needed to be completely unmadeevery day in order to navigate the living space. The queen bed was very comfortable.-I dropped something behindthe nightstand and found wrappers, old bandaids- they need to beremoved, and cleaned behind there.
