With stunning views of the white sand beach and crashing surf, Beach Birds provides the perfect spot to watch soaring pelicans, swooping seagulls and scurrying sandpipers. Relax with your morning coffee as you take in panoramic views and cotton candy colored sunrise clouds from the private oceanfront balcony, or enjoy quiet evenings with family gathered in the living room. Relax on the comfortable couches to enjoy a favorite show or movie on the Smart TV. The sturdy dining table seats at least six for meals or to play one of the provided board games, and the fully stocked kitchen provides all the equipment you need to prepare traditional recipes or the catch of the day.
The master bedroom provides a queen bed, direct balcony access and an attached private bathroom with a step-in shower. Fall asleep each night lulled by the sound of the waves just outside. The other two bedrooms are located off the kitchen and share hall access to a bathroom with a standard tub/shower combo. Both non-master bedrooms feature a TV with streaming capabilities for personal entertainment. One room is furnished with a double bed, and the other has a twin bed as well as a twin-over-twin bunk bed.
The condo complex has shared walkways to the beach, seasonal pool access, and open grilling area with covered picnic tables nearby. Each building has outside shower for rinsing off after a long day at the beach. Just across the street is the Oak Island Golf Club and Duffer's Pub & Grille restaurant and you'll be a quick drive from the historic Oak Island Lighthouse on Caswell Beach.
Available for nightly, weekly, and off-season monthly stays.
The OIBV pool is open annually from Memorial Day to Labor Day. Specific condo communities may keep the pool open past Labor Day depending on the homeowner's association's recommendation.

Unfortunately, we stayed at Beach Birds the same week Hurricane Debby came through. We still managed to get on the beach every day and managed to get a little sunburn on Thursday...the beach is beautiful, not crowded. During rain bands we watched movies, played cards and probably did a little too much day drinking...but, whatever.
The condo itself was perfect for our group, maybe a little small at times, just from having to be inside too much. Well equipped kitchen and great linen service. The patio facing the ocean was great...even in the rain you could still enjoy watching the waves and birds.
One thing I wish this condo had were ceiling fans...it did get a little hot at night without fans in the unit. The cleaning crew showed up an hour early, while we were still packing our car...no biggie really.
We'd love to return during calmer weather, to really experience what that park of Oak Island and Caswell Beach has to offer and would definitely stay here again.
