Large River Home with private pool, basketball court, private, pool table

We loved this property!! The location is wonderful. Right in between Seguin and New Braunfels. The house is in a secluded place at the end of an alley road, I know that sounds crazy but it is actually PERFECT & PRIVATE! We went on walks in the morning and the area is safe and friendly. There is a Dollar General in walking distance. The pool and house are so clean. The ac worked excellent! It is very comfortable and the floor plan is great for a big group. The host was very friendly! We will absolutely stay again.

Our family of 20 stayed and the home was wonderful. Very spacious. Allowed everyone to have their own personal space to unwind while giving us plenty of room to congregate also. The pool was clean and very refreshing in this Texas heat. Dollar General right around the corner for everything you may have forgotten. We did spend an afternoon I. The house was fine, it was not disclosed that it is literally fear from a train track, but there was only one train that came by the last night we were there. Pool was great, the students enjoyed it and it met the needs for an economical price!

I made a reservation with VRBO and when my family and friends arrived there, the place looked like it had not been cleaned in days. Location of house was in a secluded spot in front of railroad tracks. The outside of house was dingy and rundown and looked not maintained. The bottom of pool was dirty and we were afraid to make use of it. The basketball court was in front of old railroad track. The interior of the home was decent and good atmosphere but not clean and well maintained as shown in the photos. The floors were dirty and dusty, not swept or mopped. It was so dusty that one of my friend's allergies flared up. The bathroom looked as if someone used it before us, with used towel and a dirty toilet. There were roaches and spiderwebs inside the rooms, especially upstairs rooms. The temperature regulation in the house was very bad as the bedrooms were freezing and the main room was hot. The main TV was not set up. The backyard porch was also dirty and stained chair pads and broken chairs. Only good about this place is as the wooded trees in backyard. I contacted the owner, he came with another person and he setup the TV and removed some leaves from the pool. Even after that, the house was not properly cleaned. The amount they charged for cleaning fee, there was no cleaning and services provided. Our overall stay experience with the house was not at all worth the amount of money they highly charged us. Felt so disappointed about this experience.

This house is in an unusual place BUT don’t let that deter you. The house itself is wonderful. It had plenty of room for my four kids and all eight of my grandkids. We loved sitting around the pool in March and we even took a dip in the pool. We will definitely be going back for another fun family trip.

Area was secluded which was nice. We used the pool everyday, it was very clean. At night when it got cold we used the large pit to light a fire on the back patio to stay warm. Used the basketball court daily as well for some competition. One of the basketball hoops is damaged so we just used the one. It looks like someone was dunking on it and damaged it in the past. Other than that, everything was great. We also used enjoyed the pool table the entire time we were all there.

There were 8 of us that stayed and we found the roominess very comfortable. It was cold outside during our stay but the house was very warm. We thought we didn't have hot water in a few sinks but the plumbing was switched so ended up having plenty of hot water. We enjoyed our stay and would stay here again.
