About this house rental
Pictured Rocks Family Rentals welcomes you to Santa's Shack Triplex! This home is actually 3 separate units combined into one for large groups. We can sleep up to 18 during spring, summer and fall and up to 14 in the winter. This includes a separate bunk house in the backyard that sleeps up to 4 on a set of 2 bunkbeds, only available May through October. There are 3 bathrooms with a tankless water heater so hot showers for everyone! There's also a hot tub on the back patio.
Our home is located in Christmas, less than 5 miles from Munising, the beginning of Pictured Rocks National Lakeshore. We offer a Studio unit that has a king bed, a bunk bed, a kitchen and a bathroom. The lower level of the main house has one bedroom with an en suite bathroom and a queen size sofa sleeper in the living room, as well as another kitchen and the laundry room is on the same level. On the upper level, there are 2 bedrooms. One has a queen bed, and the other has a queen bed, and a twin over full bunk bed. The upper level also has a bathroom, living room, kitchen, and offers a deck off the kitchen area with a gas grill and patio set. The bunkhouse is a short walk into the backyard and has 2 sets of bunk beds in it and it's own Roku TV for entertainment. Below the upstairs deck is a private hot tub and another patio set. The backyard has a fire pit along with a picnic table and charcoal grill.
Come on up and stay with us with your large family or group of friends! The way our home is set up, you'll have room to separate when you want a little more privacy but all can still stay together :) We are only a couple blocks from snowmobile/atv trails with room to park a few trucks and trailers. Pictured Rocks boat tours are less than 5 miles away, Au Train Beach and Sand Point Beach are about 10 minutes away, Grand Island Landing to explore Grand Island is about 3 miles east of us. In Munising, there's numerous waterfalls, mountain biking/hiking trails, kayak tour companies, restaurants, bowling alley, ice skating rink (during winter only), there's something for everyone! Foggy's Steakhouse and Christmas Kewadin Casino are both within walking distance from our home. The White Pine Lodge is right in the backyard which has a gas station, convenience store and hand dipped ice cream for an after dinner treat. Bay Furnace Park is a short jaunt where you can check out the old ruins from the blast furnace where pig iron was made in the late 1800's.
*There are 3 motion-activated 24/7 audio/video recording devices facing all exterior entry doors
*No unauthorized guests (people not included on reservation) allowed without preapproval from host
*No animals allowed
*No events allowed
*Signed rental agreement and $500 security deposit hold required for all reservations. Primary guest will need to send a picture of government issued ID and list names and ages of all other guests in their group.

Excellent time here at Santa’s Shack Tri-Plex! Well furnished for everything-meals, entertaining, sleeping etc.Great location to many local attractions. Our group of 12 had plenty of room to comfortably enjoy the property.Definitely a five star stay!!!

We had a wonderful stay. This property was perfect for our family because it gave each family some privacy with their own kitchens and bathrooms but yet we were all together. Loved this property.
