Welcome to Above The Clouds! This is a family-friendly, premier 4-bedroom, 3.5-bath retreat perched at the highest point of the Blue Ridge Mountains. Designed for large families and groups seeking both adventure and relaxation, this modern-rustic cabin offers breathtaking, long-range views of the Blue Ridge Mountains from every level and is perfect for your next family getaway!
The Space:

- Cozy fireplace hearth. (NOTE: The fireplace is inactive(turned off) from May 1 - October 1 due to the warmer weather)

Q: Are there extra charges for using the hot tub and bringing or extra guests?
A: We do not charge a fee to use the hot tub or any other amenities included in the home. The maximum occupancy is 10 guests, which includes adults and children. Extra guests are not allowed.
Q: Can I park on the street?
A: NO street parking whatsoever- the driveway has plenty of parking, can easily fit 4 cars.
Q: What time is check-in and check-out?
A: Check-in is after 5 PM local time, and check-out is no later than 11 AM local time to give our caretakers enough time to prepare the home for the next guest.
Q: Do you allow pets?
A: We allow up to two dogs for a one-time $150 pet fee.
Q: Where is the nearest hospital?
A: The nearest hospital is Blue Ridge Medical Center, roughly 13 minutes away.
Q: How are the road conditions in the winter?
A: The local community maintains the roads so that they can be easily accessed with a 4-wheel-drive vehicle. We have also seen plenty of Honda Civics do just fine!
Q: Is the home on a private lot?
A: The mountain has houses sprinkled throughout, with plenty of space between for maximum privacy. We have neighbors to our left and right who are rarely home. None of our neighbors homes impede your privacy in the backyard.
Q: What type of security system do you have in place?
A: We use smart locks that change codes with every guest who stays at our cabin. We also have security cameras on the grounds.
HOUSE RULES:
To keep our cabin cozy for everyone:
- No paints, glitter, or stain-causing materials
- No street parking (driveway fits 4–5 cars)
- No loud outdoor music past 10 PM

Wonderful and responsive management, beautiful cabin. Enclosed fire pit area was wonderful for our service dog. Easy check in/ check out. Highly recommend!

Excellent home. It had a great cabin feel throughout the entire inside and outside. All bedrooms were great, as was the deck with the extra open space. Firepit area was also very nice. Easy parking for 2 vehicles. Its definitely a cabin I would consider staying in again.
