We were very happy in the apartment, suited us just fine. Great view across the valley, peaceful and relaxing when we had come back from our rides.
If you intend to cycle like us then, the final 1km 25% climb up to the apartment is a challenge when you’re tired!

The porch of the building gives an excellent view of Gérardmer where we found plenty to do during our 4-day visit (for swimming; visit Lac de Longemer instead of Lac de Gérardmer). The interior is somewhat minimalistic but has everything you need plus a nice shower. The hosts were friendly and delivered a very clean accomodation. They only spoke French (we didn't), but with some gestures and Google translate we could make it work.
