A Beautiful Space with Hosts Who Truly Go Above and Beyond. Whispering Pines was the perfect setting for our women's retreat, and we could not have asked for a better experience. Our group of 26 women felt welcomed and at home from the moment we arrived. The home was clearly set up with intentionality, making a large group feel comfortable rather than cramped.The Space: The layout is ideal for big groups. There was plenty of room for everyone to gather, spread out, rest, and connect without feeling on top of each other. The bedrooms were comfortable, the kitchen was well-equipped for group cooking, and the outdoor spaces gave us room to enjoy the surroundings together.The Decor and Amenities: The thoughtful touches throughout the home made a real difference. It did not feel like a generic rental. It felt curated and welcoming, which set the tone for our entire stay.A Note on the Grill: During our stay, the outdoor grill caught fire while in use, which unfortunately cost us three racks of beef ribs. No structural damage occurred, but we were understandably concerned about how the hosts would respond. They came out promptly to assess the situation, were calm and gracious throughout, and rather than charging us for grill replacement, they refunded us for the three racks of ribs we lost. That kind of fairness and generosity left a lasting impression on all 26 of us.Bottom Line: Whispering Pines is a phenomenal choice. The home delivers on every front. We will definitely be back

This is my second time staying in this house and I Love it! I feel at Home! It is beautiful and has all the amenities that you need!My family is really big (21) and we never felt too crowded! I will be absolutely staying here again!

This stunning mansion on a a large piece of property in Houston was magical! We were close enough to the things we needed, but hidden away to feel like a vacation. The home had everything we needed, including plenty of blankets (it was a cold week), multiple gathering spaces, 2 refrigerators, a commercial coffer pot, a firepit stocked with wood and marshmallow holders and many more! The owners were responsive, willingly gave us a tour and showed true Texas hospitality. We saw 5 deer on the field next to the home that is big enough to hold a wedding. Our gathering was a retreat with people traveling from all over the country, and the home was as easy Uber ride from IAH. We loved it so much that we plan to book again in the future.
