About this house rental
Relaxing and comfortable home which sleeps 6. Each of the two bedrooms has a bathroom. The den has a comfortable pull out sofa. This family home, which was rebuilt after Katrina, has an open floor plan, which includes the living and dining space and kitchen, complete with all modern amenities. The kitchen opens onto a large back porch with a small dining table and porch swing at one end (perfect place for coffee or drinks) and a cozy wicker seating area at the other end. This house comes with 2 kayaks, beach chairs, umbrellas, beach wagon, and grill. It is also handicap accessable and has a large back yard with patio area.

We truly enjoyed our stay at this home. The abundance of windows allows for beautiful natural light, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere throughout. The location is ideal—just a short distance from both the beach and the downtown/strip area of BSL—yet tucked away on a quiet street with friendly neighbors.The home is thoughtfully stocked with many extra touches that made our stay especially comfortable, including toilet paper, paper towels, garbage bags, foil, and other kitchen essentials. We especially loved the screened back porch, where we spent most of our time relaxing on the comfortable furniture and listening to the nearby church bells. The front porch with rocking chairs was also a peaceful spot to unwind.There are great outdoor amenities as well, including both propane and charcoal grills, along with plenty of beach gear like chairs and umbrellas. Overall, the home is very well appointed.If I had one suggestion, it would be to upgrade the living room furniture, as it wasn’t very comfortable. That said, we didn’t spend much time there anyway. The beds are nice but quite firm, which may or may not suit everyone’s preference. There are plenty of extra linens and pillows provided.The owners were very responsive and easy to work with, which made the entire experience even better. We would absolutely stay here again.

This is a lovely home on a quiet street a half block from the beach. It is also within walking distance to many restaurants. We definitely took advantage of that!
