Welcome to Our Lake George Cabin
We’re happy to host you and hope you enjoy your stay! Please take a moment to review the information below to help ensure a comfortable visit for everyone.
House Information
• Please read the House Rules posted on the refrigerator upon arrival.
• Each bedroom has a window AC unit. Please turn all AC units off before departure.
• To secure the back door, use the padlock. Lock code: 19-36-25.
• During very hot weather, the toilet tank may sweat. This is normal.
• If the bathroom fan trips the GFI outlet, the reset is located in the basement stairwell.
• We provide dish soap, paper towels, toilet paper, and basic cleaning supplies for your stay.
Wildlife & Trash
This is a true Adirondack cabin experience. You are surrounded by nature and may see wildlife during your stay.
To help keep wildlife away:
• Keep all trash secured in the provided garbage cans.
• Do not leave food or garbage outside.
• Garbage cans must remain at the end of the driveway.
Fire Pit & Wood Stove
Guests are welcome to enjoy:
• Outdoor fire pit
• Indoor wood stove
Instructions for operating the wood stove are provided in the home. If you are unfamiliar or uncomfortable using it, please do not use it.
Guests must provide their own firewood for both the fire pit and wood stove.
Winter Travel
The cabin is located on a private road. While the road and driveway are plowed and salted, winter conditions in the Adirondacks can be challenging. Four-wheel drive is strongly recommended during snow and ice events.
Quiet Hours
Quiet hours are from 9:00 PM to 8:00 AM.
This is a quiet residential area, and we appreciate your consideration of our neighbors.
Smoking
Absolutely no smoking inside or outside the home.
Games & Entertainment
Board games and activities can be found in the corner cabinet in the dining room.
Pet Policy
We are pet-friendly!
• Pet fee: $150 per pet
• Pets must be added to your reservation
• Dogs must remain on a leash at all times
• Guests are responsible for cleaning up after their pets before departure
Check-Out Instructions
Before checking out, please:
✓ Strip all used beds and sort linens into piles in the basement
✓ Remove all garbage from the house
✓ Wash, dry, and put away all dishes
✓ Turn off all lights
✓ Turn off all AC units during summer stays
✓ During winter stays:
• Close all windows
• Leave the main living area thermostat set to 55°F
• Turn all other thermostats off
✓ If you use the washer and dryer, please wash, dry, fold, and put away your laundry
✓ Confirm garbage cans are left at the end of the driveway
✓ Take all personal belongings with you

This was a great spot for a family trip to Lake George! The location is absolutely perfect. The house was pretty clean and beds and couch were comfy. The dishes in the cupboards were gross and we had rewash them, but it was probably the people before us. The owner was great and contacted me before hand that the propane grill was broken, but they provided charcoal for the other grill. That takes a little longer so we didn’t get to use it, but it was a nice gesture. The bathroom door lock doesn’t work, which was a big deal for me only because I have two small children who do not believe in personal space. Otherwise, it was a wonderful stay and we’d definitely stay again!

This property was a wonderful location, and space! About 5 mins to the village and 5 mins to Dunhams bay where we keep our boat. The house was well equipped with all the tools necessary for a great time. Heather was a wonderful host, and we will be renting from her in the future.

Stay was good, we had a great time. Some flaws we noticed during the week. But location was perfect!! But When it rained the gutters look liked they haven’t been cleaned out for long time. If you need a handy man my other half is perfect for the job!
