About this cottage rental

Set at the end of a small and quiet cul-de-sac with only fields behind, Hiraeth is a wonderful detached holiday home only a short distance from many of South Pembrokeshire's best-loved attractions including Saundersfoot beach. Stay here, less than two miles from the aforementioned seafront, for a memorable family holiday packed with activities and days out or a relaxing getaway with amenities close at hand. You'll have the best of both worlds. Renovated throughout, it has been beautifully furnished in a contemporary, yet comfortable style. The large hall leads through to a super, newly fitted modern kitchen/diner, the garage off this has been converted into a useful utility room with plenty of space for all your outdoor gear, including bikes and surf boards. The sitting room has a wood burning stove for those chillier evenings with French doors leading to the large, enclosed rear garden giving space for children to play or enjoy an alfresco meal, while you relax and admire the views over the fields beyond. There is also a front garden accessed by another set of French doors which catches the morning sun and is a lovely spot to enjoy an early coffee. With a double bedroom and shower room on the ground floor, stairs lead up to 2 further bedrooms, one a zip and link giving flexibility, and a bathroom on the first floor.Conveniently located, it enjoys a relaxing location, yet within easy reach of some stunning beaches and seaside towns, with a popular farm shop, Four Seasons, stocking a range of local produce including fresh milk from the farm just down the road. A less than 30 minute walk takes you via footpaths to Saundersfoot, or a 5 minute drive, with its range of facilities and beautiful golden sandy beaches, enjoy just messing around on the beach or try your hand at a water sport including kayaking or paddle boarding to gain a different perspective. Join the Pembrokeshire Coastal Path to really appreciate this stunning coastline head, east towards Wiseman’s Bridge and Amroth taking in the tunnels, a relic from the area’s industrial coal mining past, both have seaside pubs, cafes and restaurants to enjoy refreshments overlooking the water before the walk home. While to the West, is the medieval walled town of Tenby, with its quaint cobbled streets, picturesque harbour and beautiful beaches. Take a fishing trip or a boat ride to visit Caldey Island, the home of the Cistercian Monks, with its own unique peaceful atmosphere. You are spoilt for choice with a number of equally stunning beaches including Manorbier, Freshwater East and West, as well as Barafundle and Broad Haven South, all within a short drive. The market town of Narberth is well worth a visit with its range of boutique and antique shops, restaurants, cafes and delicatessen. There really is something for everyone with a host of family attractions as well including Folly Farm Adventure Park and Zoo, Manor Wildlife Park and Heatherton World of Activities.Hiraeth is a super holiday home, perfect for couples and families whatever the season. One Level Accomodation - This denotes that a bedroom, bathroom or shower room, whb/wc, living area and kitchen are on one level - guests must check the property access statement on the website or request a copy via email to base their decision on, if this is important to your stay.
