The Neighborhood:
Situated on the edge of the Bywater, our little neighborhood is between the canal, St. Claude Ave, Poland Ave, and North Claiborne Ave. Lowpoint (coffee shop) is the anchor of the neighborhood and the other side of St. Claude Ave (two blocks away) is the heart of the Bywater. The Bywater is a historic neighborhood with colorful homes and lots of great bars and restaurants (Bacchanal, Parleaux, Vaughns, Bj's, etc.) - we recommend checking it out! If the weather is nice and you have comfortable shoes, walking from the Bywater --> Marigny --> French Quarter (stopping at bars and restaurants along the way!) is a great way to spend a day.
Getting Around:
+2 minute walk to Lowpoint, a great little neighborhood coffee shop.
+2 minute drive or 10 minute walk to some of our favorite bars in the Bywater, including Bacchanal, Parleaux Beer Lab, Vaughns, and BJ's Lounge.
+7 minute drive to Frenchman Street.
+10 minute drive to the French Quarter and Bourbon Street.
+12 minute drive to the Superdome.
+15 minute drive to the Earnest Memorial Convention Center.
Other Things to Note:
We have 24/7 on-site staff / security - we're in the small building with the CastleDay logo. Guests can stop by for complimentary extra supplies (paper towels, dish soap, etc.) or immediate assistance in the event of a lockout.
Per City of New Orleans regulations, this property is equipped with a noise monitoring device. It does NOT record actual sounds or conversations, it simply monitors the noise level (measured in decibels). We know you're a large group - just keep noise to a reasonable volume outside. This device also monitors occupancy and cigarette smoke.
For the security of our guests, we have external recording devices (security cameras) located by the front gate and back door. All cameras are exterior only.
For the privacy of our guests and our neighbors, drones are prohibited. Please note that our neighbor, the US Army Corps of Engineers, will take legal action in the event a drone flies onto their property.
Monday and Thursday morning pool cleaning and landscape maintenance: On Monday and Thursday mornings (between 7:30am-11:30am) our pool maintence tech comes to check the chemicals and clean the pool and our landscaper comes (every other Thursday) to do landscape maintenance.
Use of the swimming pool is at your own risk.
Furniture and art may vary from pictures.

12 out of 10 would recommend. We had a group of 24 people stay at the house and every guest kept mentioning how much space they had. The amenities are amazing (hot top, pool, insanely nice kitchen) and the house had a lot of New Orleans charm. Their customer service is extremely responsive and helpful to make the stay as perfect as possible as well. Thanks for sharing your home with us!!

The facility was well cleaned when we arrived, and the parking works out great for multiple vehicles. The management was very responsive when the lift chair was stuck over the hot tub with a dead battery, so they removed it so we had full use of the hot tub perimeter. We really enjoyed the hot tub!The space does not have much sound proofing, and most all bedrooms can hear the conversations and kitchen noises at all times. Some curtains or acoustic fabric on the glass walls and ceilings would help.The dining room had adequate seating for our group of nearly 30, which we greatly appreciated. But the kitchen is not well stocked for cooking; no sugar, no dish towels, only one set of bowls, kitchen sink VERY slow to drain, so keep this in mind if you plan on cooking much.Several of the showers did not get adequate hot water, especially on the 2nd floor, and even our shower on the 1st floor had to run for a full 8-10 minutes before the water got hot. Don't know if this was related to cooler winter weather(never below freezing while we were there), but it did mean that certain bathrooms were not useful for showering.The location is great for walking to the Bywater and Marigny, and easy ride share to French Quarter.

We had a joint bachelor bachelorette trip with a group of 20 and this place was perfect. All the rooms were clean, the outside area was great for a group dinner and we felt safe the entire time. The host was very responsive when I had questions. I highly recommend this place!!!

A group of 25 of us stayed in this home to celebrate a 50th birthday, and we absolutely loved it! The house was spotless, spacious, and had everything we needed to comfortably accommodate a large group. Having 2 washers and dryers, 2 dishwashers, and plenty of dishes made things so convenient. The host was extremely responsive, and the property felt very secure with gated access, key codes, and added security measures. If you’re looking for the perfect place for a large group gathering, this is it!
