Brackenberry Cottage is a charming 2-bedroom cottage, located in a small row of period cottages, ideally located in the heart of the New Forest National Park. New to VRBO, but already a very successful 5 star rated property on other sites.
Having recently been refurbished to a high standard, the cottage is located within 7 mins walking distance of the village of Lyndhurst's high-street, which has a selection of fantastic restaurants, pubs, shops and cafes. The open forest is also a short distance from the cottage and leads to endless walks, cycle rides and heaps of exploring!

Perfect for our 5 day trip to the New Forest. We loved the cottage, full of character and and everything we needed for a comfortable stay. Great location, an easy 10 minute walk to the centre of Lyndhurst High Sreet and central to the New Forest delights. Host very attentive and responsive to any queries.

Overall the stay was excellent. Very comfortable beds and well appointed kitchen etc. Good communication from the host. Close to where we needed to be for an activity we were attending at the weekend. A couple of suggestions would be - for the kitchen- some form of scales and a measuring jug. The stairs- due to being a cottage was quite steep, some form of grab rail on the wall would be useful? Also- the bath is quite deep- to help getting in and out the shower- some form of grab rail in the bathroom would be ideal- and maybe a slip mat in the bath. .

The place was very clean with lovely touches and within easy reach of Lyndhurst town centre. We enjoyed our stay very much 😊
