Crater of Diamonds, Murfreesboro, Trout Fishing, Float Trip, near Lake Greeson

This was everything we were looking for when booking the trip for my son’s birthday! It can be difficult finding a place that can accommodate our big group but this house did and it was perfect! Everyone enjoyed their stay! It was perfectly tucked away while still being close enough if we needed to leave. The owner was incredibly friendly, and even after one of the teens had a mishap, the owner was very patient and polite. We will definitely be back!

Cabin was very clean and exactly as photos online depicted. They were very helpful and understanding when we needed to change our reservation date right after we booked. I appreciated the watchmen light in the yard at night but would have preferred blackout curtains as I like to sleep late while on vacation and between the light and early sunrise that was impossible.

This was a great getaway only 15 min from the lake. It was very clean and modern and so quiet. The view of the river was so pretty to wake up to in the morning. There was so much room for all of us to be comfortable, play games, and hang out. Will be back!

My husband and i and our kids and their families had the best time at River Oaks this week! We fished, waded in the river, cooked some great meals and spent lots of time on the outdoor porches. We highly recommend!

House was super clean, so spacious, and everything you could possibly need!

Great property with a great location!

We had a great time at this house on the river. It’s a beautiful house with plenty of space. We had an issue with the upstairs AC unit stop working on us but the Host had a repair person out that afternoon and resolved, on a holiday weekend no less. I gave a 4star for location because it is a little more rural than a few in our group would have liked, Wal-mart is about a 20-ish minute drive but Murfreesboro is just up the road with nice little shops. Would definitely stay again.

The home was just beautiful. Check in was a breeze and the owner was very easy to work with.

We had a great time by the Little Missouri River. The whole family loved the beautiful cabin. Plenty of room, well appointed, and convenient layout. We enjoyed the grill, the view, and the pool table. Would happily return for another stay.

So much about this property is perfect and you won't be disappointed. It's clean, beautiful, everything is there for you to come and enjoy. I would say, the ONLY thing that bothered us were the flies. We do have a farm property so we understand the flies. It's not something that is easily treatable. It didn't bother us too much because we get it. the location is farm/rural. If you're a city person and not used to it though, it might be an issue for you. For us, we will definitely visit again.

The house had everything we needed. The river in the back was so peaceful. Would definitely stay there again.

This place was everything we wanted!! We loved getting to see the cows when going to and from the house. We loved the bedrooms and bathrooms! Just a wonderful stay for our family Christmas!

Excellent property, a very nice place and while the road to get there is long, the river there is nice and it’s not too far from the lake or the state park, so having the river, the park, and the lake provides plenty of activities.

The host, Terri, was very communicative and just an amazing host all the way around. The property itself was super clean & picture perfect inside and out. The surrounding views are surreal, peaceful, and calming. I would move here if I could.

W e had a great time with our young kids at this property. Lots of fun to be had in the river and in the nearby towns. A great getaway in an AMAZING HOUSE!!!

Great house and nice views

We absolutely loved our stay! The location is very beautiful and secluded. You are not within walking distance to anything but the creek behind the house which was great for us. The house was very clean and Terrie answered me back quickly when I had questions. We traveled with two kids 7 and 4 and they loved the upstairs bedroom. We will definitely stay here again.

Thoroughly enjoyed our time. The house was very clean and had every thing we needed for a three night stay. Coveniently located to crater of diamonds. The kids loved the bunk beds and playing in the creek. Highly recommend this place.

This home is perfect for couple of families. It is brand new, super clean and just perfect down to the last detail. The host was super easy to communicate with and very helpful. The location is so peaceful and just gorgeous! We can’t wait to go again!

The house was beautiful. Perfect for couples to have their own room and bath. We would definitely come back to River Oaks.

The property was perfectly arranged, beautifully decorated and very spacious. All the little extras were a delightful surprise! The pool sticks need tips. We would have fixed them but could not find a store that sold tips. All of the family enjoyed the water either swimming, fishing or just skipping rocks. If we are back in this area, we will definitely stay here again!!! 10 out of 10 for this property!!!!!

This place is gorgeous, but the cleanliness was impeccable!!

We had such a great stay here and was the perfect size for a family of 12. It was secluded and peaceful. We will definitely be back!

If you are looking to completely get away from all your troubles and worries of day to day life, this is the place! We brought our family of 5 for the eclipse week and to dig for some diamonds, but we got so much more than expected! We have been to a LOT of vacation home rentals and this takes the cake. My kids immediately asked if we could stay longer as soon as they stepped in the door ;) The views go on for miles, the sunshine and lightness in the house is so uplifting, there is room for everyone to have their own space. The beds and showers are wonderful. We had everything we needed. It was a little too chilly for us to get much time in the river, but it's absolutely gorgeous. When the water was low, my kids could safely wade all the way across. We usually don't cook much on vacation, but being a little bit out of the way, we did buy a lot of groceries at Walmart-Mart in Nashville. (Note to those that care- the house is in a large dry county) The few restaurants that we did try (recommended by the hosts) in Murfreesboro and Nashville were really good homestyle cooking with incredibly friendly staff. We went to the Diamond Crater twice- no treasures found, but a totally unique and relaxing experience. We loved talking to the cows that roam the next door farmland, crossing the dirt road in the evenings. Just a complete respite and escape. Absolutely wonderful home.

We booked the cabin for its proximity to the Crater of Diamonds. Upon arriving, the cabin was gorgeous! It’s beautifully decorated and has everything we needed and more. Every detail was thoughtfully designed and you could tell that time and effort went into making this cabin a dream to rest your head at night or just hang out during the day. It felt like a home away from home. We had a minor hiccup with an appliance and Terrie responded quickly and it was taken care of within an hour. I would definitely book this cabin again!

The house was in a great location, near River, and attractions. We really loved the lay out of the house and was perfect for family gathering and bonding time. The owners spared no expense in furnishings, decor, and details. I will most definitely book the house again!

This was a nice property with only a few issues. We enjoyed our stay. No fish by the way though.

Absolutely beautiful home on the Little Missouri River. Super close to the crater of diamonds park. Kids had such a fun time fishing for trout and wading in the water. We had a fabulous time!!!

The cabin was beautiful and clean. It was equipped with everything we needed. We were not a fan of the dirt road to get in and we didn’t see or catch any fish but otherwise loved everything else! It was very relaxing and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Side note: the cabin shook often, I’m not sure if that’s normal or not.
