Beautiful 3-family house "Chalet Mittelhorn". In the district of Wychel, 1.2 km from the centre, in a quiet, sunny position, south facing position. In the house: storage room for skis, central heating system, washing machine, tumble dryer (for shared use). In Winter: please take snow chains. Stepped path to the house. Single garage. Grocery 1.3 km, shopping centre 1.3 km, restaurant 1.3 km, bar 1.3 km, bakery 1.5 km, bicycle rental 1.3 km, 20 minute walk to the centre, bus stop "Salzmannsegg" 500 m, railway station "Grindelwald Dorf" 1.1 km, outdoor swimming pool 2.3 km, indoor swimming pool 1.3 km. Golf course (9 hole) 3.6 km, tennis 3 km, minigolf 1.7 km, sports centre 1.3 km, mountain railway, gondola lift, ski rental 400 m, ski bus stop 500 m, cross country ski track 2.5 km, ice rink 1.3 km, children's playground 1.3 km. Well-known lakes can easily be reached: Thuner-/Brienzersee 18 km. Please note: car recommended, no lift. Ski bus (free of charge). It’s spacious and it has great Mountain View’s. But, it’s difficult to reach without a car for its steep terrain. Warm water supply disappears for half a day after one or two showers. Glass sunroof in the bedroom makes it difficult to sleep in early morning during late spring, summer or autumn. Non-refundable payment is required much in advance. Online checkin process is somewhat complicated. It follows strict rules in keeping the apartment clean, while it isn’t itself in perfect condition.

1) Bathrooms has no locks 2) no lights in outside veranda - outside sitting place 3) outside Staircase has a wooden wall projection which can hit on the head If these things are taken care off its a wonderful place to spend vacation

We greatly enjoyed our stay at Apt Stahli. We liked that it was outside the busy downtown area, so it was quiet but still accessible to everything, and the views were incredible. The apt itself had everything we needed once we figured out how to use the laundry machines and get enough hot water. Sleeping in the Alps with the windows open can’t be beat!
