Stay in a fully renovated craftsman, 1920's bungalow situated on the corner of a large pecan grove, across from the Central State Hospital infirmary. Walking, driving or trolly tours are available to learn all about the history of one of the nation's oldest and largest institutions for the mentally ill.

We enjoyed our stay. We especially appreciated the fenced in back yard for our pup and the screened in front porch in the mornings.

Property is pretty out dated. Well
Water which has a funny smell of sulfur in shower and sink. Also, the house is located in a pretty isolated area next to an abandoned insane asylum. Pretty creepy. Would be good for Halloween maybe
