About this apartment rental
One of the most popular vacation rental listings available on Ft Myers Beach! Get ready to thoroughly enjoy your beach vacation at this tasteful 2 bedroom, 2 bath beach apartment! Wonderful section of the beach too- just one block to the sand. Why stay at a hotel when this is newer, nicer + better! "The Mermaid Suite"
This updated and charming 2 bedroom apartment is located on the second floor (1 flight of stairs up) in a multi-unit building. It’s located in a desirable & quiet section of the island that’s quite popular amongst vacationers, recognized for its combination of being away from the crowds, yet in very close proximity to one of the nicest sections of actual beachfront on Fort Myers beach. The unit sleeps 4 with its 1 king bed master bedroom (with private insuite bathroom) and it’s second bedroom with a queen bed. The unit is fully renovated and well equipped with practically everything you'll need for you beach vacation.
High speed mesh Wifi is available throughout the property and there’s streaming internet to the TV (so you can access your Netflix accounts, Prime, etc).
Free parking is included with your reservation.
There’s also an inviting backyard space as shown in the photos, including a tiki bar and a relaxing seating area, both of which are under gazebos that somehow survived the Hurricane! The tiki bar has a TV and the wifi signal works well from the backyard space as well. A BBQ grill has also been added for your enjoyment. Note: this backyard area is shared with the other units in the building. There is also convenient, shared laundry equipment located on the 1st floor as well (located through the garage).

Note this apartment has the following age restriction: Primary renter must be at least 25 years old (unless an exception is requested & granted in advance of booking. Feel free to contact me and ask!)

Check in is 4:00pm, or later. Check out: 11:00am. Primary renter must be at least 25 years old. Max 2 vehicles. No pets. No parties. No smoking indoors. Outside ok. Group size restrictions: # of overnight guests is limited to the number booked in your reservation (max of 4). Max 6 people in your party at any given time on the property please (to ensure that other guests enjoy their time here as well). Pricing is based on 2 people and additional fees apply for additional occupants: $15 per night, per each additional guest (up to a maximum of 4 guests in this unit). Disclosures: Several window cranks are inop. AC defaults to maintain 75 degrees, but is fully adjustable, down to a limit of 73 degrees. Security cameras in use on the property (outside & in the garage only). Also note that Ft Myers Beach is continuing it's restoration following the impacts of Hurricane Ian which occured in Sept 2022 as well as Hurricanes Helene & Milton in 2024. Nearby construction: Fort Myers Beach properties including the condo complex next door are continuing to receive hurricane repairs. Town of Ft Myers Beach STR Registration # R260093
Interaction with guests:
Guest will be able to access their unit via a digital deadbolt system, so the timing of arrival is quite flexible (anytime after 4pm) and the unit will be all set for you on the day of your check-in. Also, the owner lives in one of the other units in the building, so he's very close by, if the need arises. That said, guests are given their privacy on their side of the building, but can certainly call the owner, if needed. He’s very happy to help you with suggestions & advice to ensure your vacation is a great one!

The host had literally thought of everything we might have a question about and addressed them in his welcome manual. The amenities were just right for our 3 member party. The beach was a 5 minute walk and unit was convenient to everything. We would definitely recommend it and go back there some day.

This property felt like a home away from home and like a luxurious vacation at the same time. The unit was well equipped with everything we needed, from dishes, utensils, pot and pans and even some select spices in the kitchen to plenty of towels, soap and shampoo in the bathrooms. The outdoor area was adorable and well lit, especially the motion lighting in the evening. There were so many items in the shared garage area, plenty of beach chairs, coolers, wagons etc. There were basic cruiser bikes to use to get around the island, and the beach was a short walk away. The host did an amazing job with the welcome packet. It included every bit of helpful information I didn't even know I would need, from restaurant recommendations to activities and local attractions. There is still some construction and restoration happening, but none of that took away from the beauty of this island. The locals here are happy to accept visitors and offer great advice on things to do or places to see. I will recommend this lovely spot to friends and family and look forward to coming back someday.

Property was beautiful, could not have asked for a better host. It’s been recently redecorated and everything is brand new and very pretty with granite countertops and new appliances. Everything was supplied; bikes, coolers, wagons, umbrellas, beach towels, beach chairs, coozis, games, grills, dish/laundry soap, bags, anything you need in the kitchen. It was a fully stocked house. Kitchen had all appliances you would need. Super nice host. Beds comfy. Super clean. Quiet for the family. Beach is right across the street. There is a trolley that goes to Times Square which is where all the action is at. Trolley does not come right to the door, but it’s pick up is near the library, not too far (about 1/4 mile). Its a great family location.
