About this villa rental
This old winery building complex, is restored to a luxury villa, consisting of 2 houses. It is located on the north-west side of Santorini, at Finikia village , at a walking distance from Oia. Each house has separate terraces over viewing the wine fields of “Baxedes” offering an excellent view to the islands of the archipelago, and the famous sunset of Oia. This property is quite famous, and has been shown in many architectural magazines and documentaries for traditional style and life in Santorini. A private garden of 200 sq. m , includes a tiny swimming pool, a traditional dome oven and barbeque, offering sun protected private corners. Terraces overlooking the Aegean Sea towards the islands of Ios, Sikinos and Folegandros offer amazing view. In particular, the unparalleled sunset of Oia.

Winery House, where dreams live... (The Main house)
This house is composed by two interconnected large cave rooms (canavas) of a total 140 sq.m, surface. Its halls were used for the wine production and for stocking the barrels. Both canavas enter from the courtyard where the main entrance to the house is. The big open space (of over 80 sq. m.) of the eastern canava includes, the living room with build benches, the dining room, the kitchen and an (open) cave bedroom with a double bed. The major bedroom is one entire hall (the western canava) of 60 sq.m. This includes the master bedroom with one build-in Kings Size bed, and above this, a wooden (open) loft with two single sleeping mattresses. Both rooms are decorated in high style. Sleeps up to 6 persons.
The House of the (singing) Birds The studio
Ιs the guesthouse in the garden, an independent Studio of 32 sq. m. including bedroom with four poster bed, Bathroom, Kitchenette with separate entrance, and private terrace with ocean view. Entrance of this studio is from the main courtyard, sharing the same oriental garden with the wineryhouse. Sleeps 2 persons
"Winery villa" is situated in the 'FINIKIA traditional settlement' which is a protected neighborhood of Oia. No cars are allowed inside Finikias narrow streets, and the village is peaceful and relaxing. Distance of the house from the bus stop on the main road is 150 meters (walking), from the taverns of Finikia 80 meters, and from the center of Oia 500-800 meters. Nearest sandy beach (Baxedes) is 1500 m downhill

This is a beautiful villa with a great view. Our group of 7 stayed here comfortably. It is a bit of a walk up the hill, but that is just Santorini! I rented a van and always had parking available in lower lot. I would drop everyone off at the top of the hill so they could easily get to it without going uphill. The guy met us at check in and was very friendly. They had water, yogurt and fresh fruit there upon checkin. The hammocks and plenty of outside seating was great! It has several places of shade. I would stay here again.

We were a group of five my wife and I, our son and his girlfriend and our youngest daughter. This is a lovely property. With space for two more guests in the mezzanine above the bed we slept in. The house is cool all the time due to cave like construction. The outside space is very comfortable with multiple seating areas two of which have sea views. The host was wonderful and very helpful. There are some nice restaurants and a mini market nearby. Our favourite restaurant was Lefkes. If you want to push the boat out try Mia’s in town.

We rented both villas as we were a group of 5 adults. Abundant indoor and outdoor space (we loved the hammocks!). Not great location for anyone with mobile issues as its a few hundred meters from road thru adorable narrow alleys. We loved being outside Ouia - away from the crowds but close enough to jump in as wanted. Daniele was available, cheerful and helpful.

This is a great place! Very well located, made us feel like we were really in Greece! Easy, pleasant walk to Oia. Very pleasant courtyard in which to relax. Extremely pleasant and helpful hosts!
