About this cabin rental
Hitchin Post is located just 5 miles south of Deadwood in the Gilded Mountain Community. You'll be near skiing, snowmobiling/ATV trails, and the Mickelson Trail.
You'll have 3 levels to spread out in this cabin and multiple outdoor areas.
The main level features an open living space with 20' ceilings, modern kitchen and dining area. There is a bedroom with a queen bed, and a bathroom with a claw foot tub, double sinks, and walk in shower.
The loft includes a queen bed and a half bathroom.
The lower level includes a family room with a wet bar, mini fridge, and Galaga game as well as 2 additional bedrooms. The trapper's bunkhouse has a queen bed and twin bunks. The fisherman's Bedroom has a queen bed and bunk beds. The second full bathroom is located on the lower level.
You'll love all the outdoor spaces with hot tub, fire table, and great views.
As a guest of this cabin, you'll have access to the Gilded Mountain Clubhouse which is adjacent to the cabin and is a luxurious recreational building with a heated outdoor salt water swimming pool (open all year), 2 hot tubs, steam room, game room with pool table and air hockey, exercise room, lounging area, and wi-fi.
For large groups that need more than one cabin, there are other 3-5 bedroom cabins within walking distance to sleep over 100+ guests total. Check out Alpine Escape, Antelope Acres, Cash's Sluice, Gold Baron, Lookout Tower, The Outback, Raven's Ridge, Happy Hour Hideaway, Blackhorn Lodge, Great Escape, and Hitchin Post.

A great place to stay! We loved it! Very nice and clean! Great for all ages. Except maybe 3 and down with all the stairs.

We had more than enough space for two parents and 4 adult children. The cabin had everything we could ask for in terms of space, amenities and location. The kitchen had all the utensils and appliances we could wish for and more. Two indoor leasure areas and three outdoor seating areas. We were close to many great hiking trail heads, which is the thing we like to do most! The cabin was very clean, washer dryer and dishwasher make life easier! Just one of the best cabins we’ve stayed at in the last 15 years of doing this every year. Thanks for sharing your beautiful cabin with us!! We hope to be back!

Location was about 3 miles from slopes and a convenient drive.
House was well appointed and sported the best array of appliances we have experienced.
Definately needed all or 4 wheel drive as advertised.
Definately a return trip.
