This chalet sleeps up to 13 (adults, children and infants), and 2 dogs. We also have another listing just up the street, about 2 minutes away, that sleeps up to 16 additional guests. Larger groups—up to 29 people—are welcome to reach out and book both homes together.

This property has special local compliance requirements which include a signed rental agreement and the booker’s ID verification. Guests must either opt in for a $45 non-refundable damage waiver provided by a third-party insurance company, OR authorize a refundable temporary $500 security deposit hold–not a traditional security deposit, not an actual charge, released if no damage/excessive cleaning!
The optional damage waiver is $45 for stays up to 10 nights, with an additional $2 per day for stays longer than 10 nights.
To make this process easy for you, we use a secure and very simple, app-free platform called Happy Guest. It is not an app, and you do not have to sign up for an account -- it’s a safe and secure website. It also gives you a guest portal with all the info about the home and all of our favorite local spots.
A 9% lodging tax is required for all bookings and will be collected and remitted on behalf of guests.

This home is nestled in the heart of nature. To help keep critters out, please keep doors and windows closed during your stay. Despite regular pest control efforts, occasional encounters with insects or other small pests—indoors or outdoors—may occur. No refunds will be issued for pest sightings.
Additional cleaning may be required for stays over 10 days. Please reach out to inquire about longer stays.
Violations of our house rules may lead to guests having to leave prematurely without a refund.
For property protection and insurance purposes, there are exterior security cameras and they must remain active at all times.

Space was great. Location close to mountain, amenities were nice space was clean. Host insisted we brought dogs to the property (we didn't) and charged us a dog fee. The property has outside facing security cameras and it would have been very easy to verify we hadn't brought animals, but host neglected to do this and instead left a bill for us to pay and ceased communication.
