About this house rental
Cocoonr is delighted to offer you, just a stone’s throw from the heart of the picturesque village of Gordes, set amidst lush greenery and the gentle scents of Provence, a magnificent 48 m² designer country cottage, ideal for accommodating up to four guests in a setting that combines comfort and modernity. Nestled in peaceful surroundings, you’ll enjoy a shared swimming pool, as well as a spacious private terrace of around 100 m². Every detail has been carefully considered so that you can savour your stay in complete tranquillity, lulled by the song of the cicadas. Welcome to Basti Lou, your peaceful retreat in Gordes, where every stone exudes the authentic spirit of Provence.
The bastidon is laid out as follows:
- A lovely 24 m² living room with a sofa and armchairs, a large TV, board games at your disposal, and a Bluetooth speaker.
- A kitchen opening onto the living room, equipped with an oven/microwave, hob, dishwasher, electric kettle, toaster, coffee machine and consumables
- Bedroom 1: 1 queen-size bed (160x200), cupboard with hanging space
- Bedroom 2: 1 queen-size bed (160x200), cupboard with hanging space
- A bathroom with shower, toilet and hairdryer
Outdoors:
- A private, unfenced furnished garden/terrace of 100 m², with an arbour to enjoy sunny days (round table with 6 armchairs, 4 sun loungers, a large parasol, 1 rocking chair, a high-quality plancha and 1 table with 4 chairs) with no overlooking neighbours
- Access to the shared 20m x 5m swimming pool (unheated), with sun loungers (foutas/pool towels provided by the bastidon). The pool is open all year round
- A table tennis table near the pool (equipment available for your use within the bastidon)
Baby equipment is provided within the bastidon. However, as space in the bedroom is limited, setting up the travel cot may obstruct access to part of the room. Please bear this in mind when making your booking.
Transport:
If you choose to travel by car, you can park directly in the car park within the secure estate (1 space per bastidon)
As for other modes of transport, here is some information that may be useful:
- Nearest railway station: Avignon station, 37 km (46 mins) away
- Nearest airport: 29 km (30 mins) away

- Pets are not allowed at the bastidon (neither indoors nor outdoors)
- Charging electric cars in communal areas is prohibited
- Parents are responsible for supervising children whilst swimming. Opening dates are subject to change and weather conditions
- End-of-stay cleaning includes preparing the accommodation for future guests. Please leave the property in a reasonably clean condition and clean any kitchen appliances after use
- Any request for arrival or departure outside the specified times is subject to the availability of the reception staff. A flat-rate surcharge may apply
