Welcome to The Rookwood - a stunning 3 bed pied-a-terre in the heart of Hyde Park Square. Just steps outside your door you’ll find some of the best restaurants Cincinnati has to offer, and the square is filled with boutiques & businesses galore! A quick 10 minute car ride to downtown Cincinnati, The Rookwood offers the best of both worlds - a little bit of suburbia just a stone’s throw from thriving downtown. The unit has a fully equipped kitchen, on-site laundry, reserved parking in the adjacent lot, and can be accessed by both stairs and elevator.

Please note, we do have a few house rules for you to follow:
We do NOT allow smoking of any kind on the property. This includes, but is not limited to, cigarettes, weed, or any type of illegal substance. If determined that smoking has occurred on the property during your stay, you as the listed guest will be subject to a MINIMUM $250 fine upon check out.
As much as we love our furry buddies, please be sure to add them to the booking!
We do not allow parties or large gatherings of any kind. Per the City of Cincinnati and its ordinances, the number of people on the reservation must NOT be exceeded at any time unless otherwise approved by the host. If determined that an additional guest visited the property during your stay, you will be subject to a MINIMUM $500 fine upon check out.
During your stay, we prohibit the use of glitter & confetti - while we all love to have a good time, these products are especially difficult to clean up, and therefore any use will result in an additional cleaning fee of MINIMUM $150 upon check out.
Cameras that are on the exterior of the property are recording 24/7 and can be used to support the host if needed. We have a zero tolerance policy. Please note that at any time we find out that the connection point on the interior of the property has been adjusted, it would be subject to fine or removal from the property.
Please do not unplug/disconnect any internet routers or boxes without first contacting us! Our unit security requires an active internet signal at all times. Unplugging any router/box without host approval will result in an additional fee. The unit will also be subject to host entry to remedy the issue at our discretion.
Host: We are available 24/7! Just simply reach out! If you are reaching out after hours (10PM - 6AM) please call the number in the listing if urgent. For non-urgent issues, message us via the application and we will respond as soon as possible! Please remember - we are unable to fix problems or issues that we do not know about. Pros: The description and pictures of this property is very accurate. The property is well decorated and clean. The location of the property is perfect, close to downtown, close to grocery stores, there's also some restaurants, a donut shop, a coffee shop, ice cream store and clothing boutique right below and across the street from the building which were wonderful. CONS for my stay: The parking was across the street with a short walk and checking in getting the key from the key box and going through the doors was a little bit of an hassle. This is an old building therefore the elevator is very old, very small like a box and it felt creepy, often times we were nervous about the elevator stopping on us and we ended up taking the stairs. Overall this is a great apartment and I think this apartment would be better suited for younger guests vs an older one.

The Rookwood was the perfect location for us in Hyde Park Square. It was away from downtown, but close enough to easily get to the aquarium and other museums with our kids. We enjoyed walking to Awakenings (the coffee shop) each morning. We loved it :)
