About this house rental
Escape to Sunrise Villa, our lakefront paradise on the coveted south end of the Lake Lanier and nestled in the foothills of the North Georgia mountains. Our home has a resort-like feel, and is ideal for taking advantage of everything the lake has to offer or for simply relaxing with family and friends. Kayak, paddle board, rent a boat, hike, go wine tasting, or just enjoy our heated saltwater pool, hot tub, pool table, large BBQ, fireplaces, and breathtaking views. This is your perfect getaway.

The house is 7000 square feet with a very bright, open layout and huge windows and lake views throughout. There are 6 bedrooms with 5 king beds, 1 queen bed, and 7 single beds, 6 and 1/2 bathrooms, a heated pool and hot tub, a 50-foot walk to our deep water dock, lots of green space, and amazing lake views from nearly every room and the pool.
The main bedroom is on the top floor and has a king-size bed, two single beds, and an en-suite bathroom. There are three other bedrooms on this floor as well, two have king beds and en-suite bathrooms, and one has two bunk beds (four twin beds) and shares the en-suite bathroom with one of the other rooms. The basement level has two more bedrooms with king beds that share a large Jack and Jill bathroom. One of these rooms also has a queen over twin bunk bed. There is also a full bathroom off the basement living room and a cabana bathroom (with shower) by the pool. All bedrooms are on the top floor or basement level. There are no bedrooms on the main level.
Our home is close to many marinas including Holiday, Aqualand and Hideaway Bay. Boat and jet ski rentals, live music, restaurants and bars are a short car or boat ride away. Close to the Lake Lanier Islands waterpark, golf course and Jimmy Buffett’s Margaritaville. You’ll never run out of things to do at our home. We have a kayak, canoe, paddle boards, boat dock, pool table, grill, private/heated salt water pool, hot tub, two kitchens, two inside gas fireplaces and an outside wood burning fireplace. Close to Atlanta nightlife, world class shopping and restaurants. Minutes from the Mall of Georgia, mountains for hiking, rafting, shopping and wineries. You’re gonna fall in love with our home on Lake Lanier.

My family (5-75) had a great time at this house! The house was the perfect size with lots of room. The porch, pool, hot tub, and outdoor fireplace to roast marshmallows were wonderful, not to mention the beach entry to the lake and the dock in the backyard! We appreciated the fenced yard for our dogs and the front yard where we brought our net and played volleyball. There were plenty of kitchen supplies and we appreciated the yummy spices. We enjoyed movies in the main family room and basement and enjoyed watching football on the back patio. We caught some blue gill off the dock and loved all the geese and deer in the backyard. The owners were extremely responsive and accommodating. The kids enjoyed the park right outside the front door and the beach entry to the lake at the park which had a nice sand bar for the kids to play in. There were plenty of table space for eating with two tables on the deck, one in the kitchen and dining room and bar stools. These tables were great for eating, playing games, coloring, and doing puzzles. We took a day trip to go apple and pumpkin picking, but the kids said they would have rather stayed at the house! My favorite thing is that the hot tub actually got hot! I’ve been at a lot of rentals where the hot tub is only luke warm, that wasn’t the case here! It was so nice not to have to bring our own inflatable paddle boards, kayaks, and canoes since the house already has real ones (not inflatable)!

Great place to stay. We had a large multifamily group. There was plenty of space in the house. the pool and dock were great places to be outdoors. Everyone had a great time. Communication with the hosts was excellent!!

I booked this home for an executive retreat and took a chance since there were no reviews listed because the price and photos reflected a luxurious home.
The home is tired and in need of a major refresh all the way around. Additionally, the kitchen did not have adequate appliances for cooking large meals and insufficient quantities of dishes,cookware, flatware etc. I can provide a list if needed.
I have photos I’d like to share but this format will not allow me to attach.
We did enjoy our time despite the shortfalls.
