Our 130 sqm apartment is quiet and centrally located, yet surrounded by beautiful nature. It's just 900 m to the city walls and the Rhine. The Rhine, numerous lakes, forests, and meadows invite you to slow down and unwind. Rees is a bike-friendly city, and with 2,500 km of cycling routes, exploring by bike becomes a true nature experience.



The apartment is modern and stylishly furnished, with direct access from the open luxury kitchen and dining area to a large sunny terrace. Step right into a rose paradise.



The kitchen offers an induction hob, oven at ergonomic height, dishwasher, coffee machine, wine fridge, and everything you need for gourmet cooking. A bright, spacious living room awaits you, featuring a fireplace, 55-inch flat-screen TV with satellite, internet radio, Wi-Fi, a writing desk, and a cozy tea and reading nook.



The bathroom on the lower ground floor has a walk-in shower with both hand and rain options, underfloor heating, a bathtub, and a window for ventilation.



The comfortable bedroom features a high-quality queen-size bed (1.80 m x 2 m), two ergonomic slatted frames, excellent mattresses, hygiene covers, and hypoallergenic bedding and pillows. The room is quiet and can be darkened for a restful sleep. The apartment is well insulated and remains pleasantly cool even during hot weather.

Pros: We stayed here for an entire month while waiting to move into our new home. It was thoroughly enjoyable. This is a very spacious place with lots of room to live and work with a great outdoor patio to enjoy the good weather. The kitchen was well stocked with spices and other small items and there was plenty of storage for our groceries. Great place to cook too!. And we even had a space for our bikes in the garage. Tanja and Eric are fantastic hosts. Eric patiently waited for us until 1 AM because of flight delays. They were very accommodating and helpful. Eric even introduced us to the local milkman who comes in every Wednesday so that we could get fresh milk and other fresh farm items including fruits and meat. They were also very helpful with recommendations on local places to eat and things to do. We could not have asked for better hosts. I highly recommend the Rose Cottage am Niederrhein in Rees to whomever is looking for a nice, comfortable and welcoming Ferienwohnung.
