About this house rental
Secluded in the forest and nestled in a quiet neighborhood, this beautiful two-level vacation paradise has restful vistas, lots of outdoor space, boat dock on a placid lake, and access to the best mountain bike trails in the country! With four comfortable bedrooms plus an office with a convertible day bed; 3.5 baths; efficient and equipped kitchen & dining room, both with eating areas; extensive deck areas; pine shiplap ceilings, two fireplaces, laundry facilities, and an appealingly open floor plan but still private spaces when needed; this vacation space is everything you’re looking for! Located in the heart of the Back 40 Bike Trails, there are mountain biking trails all around. Bikes are safe in the enclosed garage when not in use. Swim when it's hot in the man-made lake, then play games, solve world problems, or just relax at the deck table with your compatriots, or around the firepit below on the ground level. Spend the evening - or early morning, or any time of day - enjoying the views of the lake, the wildlife, and the feeling of being lost in nature.
Cook on the grill, find one of the myriad restaurants in the area, or enjoy a picnic. Anything’s possible, and pleasant, at this delightful lake house home away from home!

Outdoor quiet is expected after 11 p.m. We love our neighbors and respect their needs and wishes, so we expect our guests to be kind to them as well. If we receive reports that these rules are not being followed, you will receive a call or text. A second contact may result in eviction without refund, so please don't make this happen! We had a great stay at Karla's place! Communication before our stay was quick, clear and helpful. It was easy to find and check in was smooth. It was exactly as described and had everything we needed for a great stay. The view was amazing. It was rainy so we didn't go down to the lake but loved time outside on the upper and lower covered patios. Our large group was able to sit outside and eat and enjoy sitting by the firepit during the rain. So nice! The neighborhood is nice and felt completely safe. There is so much to do in the area. Highly recommend a trip to Northwest Arkansas and staying with Karla while there!

This was our third VRBO stay this year. While Karla was very responsive, the property itself was not on par with the other two properties we stayed at. The consumables (shower wash, tin foil, plastic wrap, kleenex, etc.) were not plentiful or supplied. The property is clean on the surface, but needs a deep clean. We could trace our fingers through the dust on the mantles, celing fans, and some window sills. The kitchen, which had many dishes, was not well appointed, i.e. there were not enough wine glasses for 5 people.
