About this villa rental
Villa Aphrodite is situated in Adele village, just 8 kilometers east of the town of Rethymno and 77 kilometers from the city of Heraklion and its airport. Nestled amidst rolling countryside and vast olive groves, Adele village offers an excellent choice for a relaxing and enjoyable holiday, as it combines the beauty of the countryside with easy access to the sea.
The idyllic beach near the village stretches along a long expanse of golden sand with crystal-clear waters, displaying a thousand shades of color that challenge even the most discerning palette.
Designed with modern architecture while remaining loyal to local traditions, 'Villa Aphrodite' is the perfect solution for a family holiday. This 85m² maisonette is tastefully furnished in a modern style with a touch of traditional elements, accommodating up to 4 people.
The ground floor comprises a spacious living room with a traditional fireplace, a dining room, and a guest restroom. There is also an open-plan, fully equipped kitchen with a door leading to an outdoor barbecue area. The living room opens up to a pergola-covered terrace, complete with a six-chair dining table, perfect for al fresco dining.
On the first floor, there are two bedrooms and a bathroom with a bathtub and a washing machine. The first bedroom features a double bed and a door leading to a large terrace with a modern wooden pergola, ideal for relaxation. The second bedroom has two single beds that can be converted into a double bed upon request, and it opens onto a pergola-covered terrace with a pleasant view, as well as a small balcony.
The mattresses on the beds are made of natural products that can be used on both sides, each crafted from natural latex for a comfortable night's sleep. Both rooms are air-conditioned and equipped with flat-screen TVs.
The villa includes satellite TV, air conditioning, an alarm system, dishwasher, and a washing machine. Free Wi-Fi is also provided, and a baby cot is available upon request.
Surrounded by rose bushes, cypresses, jasmine, and orange trees, 'Villa Aphrodite' offers a perfect setting for relaxation. You can sunbathe on the deck chairs by the swimming pool, or unwind and enjoy the view from the balconies. A barbecue is located in the garden, and there is ample private open-air parking space.
In Adelianos Kampos, located 2-3 kilometers away, you can find all the essential amenities, including supermarkets, bakeries, butchers, shoe and clothing stores, souvenir shops, and even a jewelry shop. Medical services are also available in the village.
Directly in Adele village, there is a supermarket located approximately 500 meters from the villa, while Agreco's organic products tavern is around 900 meters away.

The villa was in an Ideal location for us as we had a car.There is a parking space. The villa is very comfortable with a lovely pool. Had a very relaxing stay, villa had everything we needed. The host was very friendly and told us everything we need to know. We were visited by three cats which we loved and they just added to the charm of the villa. Would highly recommend.

This property was everything the website showed. The owner was present when we arrived and he helped us understand all we needed to know. The location was superb! Close to all we wanted to do during our stay.

We stayed at Villa Aphrodite in Adele during August. Prior to leaving England I was saving the number for the host into my phone; I allowed it to ring once by accident. He immediately called me back and made the arrangements regarding the keys. Straight away, it was clear that Angelos was a very attentive host.
We arrived late at night; the following morning he visited us to explain the intricacies of the villa and the cleaning arrangements.
Our cleaning lady, Irene, was top notch. She came twice per week, changing all towels and bed linen each time. We found her to be incredibly friendly and by far the best cleaning lady of anywhere we have ever rented.
As a small family group, this villa is hard to beat; fully equipped with everything you could possibly need (including a washing machine and a dishwasher) and located fifteen minutes or so drive away from the beautiful town of Rethymnon where we went to eat in the evenings. There are plenty of local beaches and everyone is friendly and helpful.
We have visited this area twice previously, staying in different villas and this is the one to which we would return.
If we had to say one improvement, it would be that the dishwasher could do with rinsing through. This would be incredibly picky but would make the place absolutely perfect.
