About this cabin rental

Finally the cabin you will always want to come back to! Welcome to our Modern Mountain Cabin tucked away, but close to all the attractions. Cabin has 2 large bedrooms with ensuites a full stocked kitchen with coffee bar, beautiful great room with vaulted ceilings and wood burning fireplace. Great Room has new furniture with queen sleeper sofa. Loft game room with pool table, video game & trundle bed (splits into 2 separate twins or together for a queen) with french doors leading to a sitting deck. Wrap around deck on main level has a private hot tub, gas grill, dining table, rocking bench,swing chairs and beautiful views. Cabin is 0.4 miles to the lake with resort boat launch & docks (complimentary boat parking @ dock for 1 hour), bring your boat & fishing poles & enjoy beautiful Douglas Lake! (please inquire if bringing a boat or trailer) Resort also includes outdoor swimming pool (seasonal, opens Memorial weekend,* based on water temperature, closes Labor Day weekend)

You will be just a short drive to all the attractions in Seiverville, Pigeon Forge & Gatlinburg. Some attractions include Soaky Mountain Water Park, Dollywood, Splash Country, Anakeesta, Sky Bridge, Dig n Zone as well as lots of museums like Titanic, Wonderworks, Ripley's and many more!
If you love hiking there are plenty of trails to enjoy in Smoky Mountains National Park
If you are a snowbird come stay in the winter months for skiing, snow boarding & tubing

We had a wonderful stay at the Just Because cabin. It was perfect for us and the family. We enjoyed the amenities in the cabin. Jeanine was ontop of everything and communicated well. The pool table & games were a hit. As well as the hot tub! & We enjoyed eating breakfast on the deck. The complimentary apple cinnamon muffins & apple butter was a nice exit breakfast.

This was our first lake vacation with our pontoon. It did not disappoint!!! The cabin was so nice, quaint, and cozy. We loved all the little touches of this cabin. They had everything there that you could possibly need and more. The hot tub was a great bonus as well. The boat dock was awesome. We never had trouble getting the boat in and out. Our first time on Douglas Lake was so beautiful and peaceful!!! We can’t wait to come back here and look forward to staying here again.

The stay was exciting and relaxing. Not too far from hiking trails and wilderness activities or downtown for restaurants, stores, etc. enjoyed the hot tub everyday and loved sitting on the porch rain or shine!

Cabin is just like the pictures. Quiet neighborhood, it was very clean and lots of games . We had a great time working on planning another trip ! Our host was quick to respond to any questions and had lots of information there for us.

This cabin was perfect for our week stay. Tucked away near Douglas Lake, away from the heavy crowds of Pigeon Forge and downtown Seiversville. Very quiet neighborhood, where we grilled on the patio and kids hung out in the hot tub. Once we walked in, we were impressed on the decor and comfort feel of the cabin. The owners put a lot of love into this place, you can tell right when you walk in! We spent every night playing Jinga out on the patio and pool and the video game inside. Any questions we had, Jeanine was very quick to answer. Our family needed this week to unwind and recharge, this place was exactly what we needed. Loved everything!!

Before celebrating Thanksgiving at home, we wanted to spend some time in the mountains to relax and spend some quality time as a family. The cabin was far enough away from the hustle and bustle of the area but close enough to get to all the area attractions with ease. The cabin offered a relaxing, homey vibe, and the loft offered hours of fun with the pool table and video games. It was a wonderful start to a holiday week!

Cabin was VERY clean, and everything you would need was available. The location is close enough to attractions/restaurants, but far enough to enjoy nature. The hot tub was great, and even as 2 adults we enjoyed playing Pac-Man in the loft! My husband & I had an amazing getaway, and even extended our stay an extra night which Jeanine was extremely helpful with that process. We also really appreciated the wine as an extra surprise that was there when we arrived. We would not hesitate to book this beautiful cabin again!!

This is one of the best experiences we’ve had with Vrbo. Extremely clean and comfortable. Kitchen had all the necessary utensils as well as items for cooking (ie: spices, oil, etc). Thoroughly enjoyed the hot tub, pool table and video games.

We had amazing time. It was a beautiful cabin. We definitely enjoyed the hot tub. I wish we would’ve been there a whole week instead of just the weekend we are celebrating our 14 year anniversary. The cabin is beautiful, spacious and very clean. The decor is very cute. Kitchen is very well stocked, nice linens. Lovely view from very large porch. Hosts are easy and friendly to communicate with, check in was also very easy. I have no complaints about the cabin, it was wonderful. Only thing was that the cabin is quite a drive to places we wanted to go, ie,,,,GSM national park, Pigeon Forge, Clingmans dome, wineries. It took about 30-45 minutes to get to where we wanted to be. We also thought that this cabin would be more secluded but, there are neighbors next door on both sides and across the street. However, that was probably my fault for not checking the location closer.

Far enough from town to offer peace and quiet. Not too far away from all of the things. The lake is awesome as well. Rented a boat and spent a lot of time on the water.

My family and I stayed for 5 nights to attend our family reunion in Pigeon Forge (ranging in age from 19-71). The property is beautiful and we instantly felt at home. The location in the mountains was very scenic and exactly what we desired. We spent a lot of time out on the porch--eating, reading books, watching the rain, enjoying hot tub. The young adults in our group also enjoyed the loft area with pool table. The kitchen was very well stocked and has everything you need. The two bathrooms are nice and the showers have great water pressure and temperature. An added benefit was washer and dryer. Rick and Jeanine are fabulous hosts, very responsive and attentive. I highly recommend if you are looking for a quiet, cozy, stylish cabin to make memories with your loved ones. We can't wait to come back!

We had a hard time getting internet on our way there to get our code, but we got through to the owner and all was good! She offered to buy pizza for us for dinner for our trouble, which was very sweet but we felt like she did an awesome job helping us. Everything was nice and cozy, just as described. If I could pick anything out that could make it better would be a closet for the guest to hang clothes but we just hung them on the back of the door in the bathroom. Thank you so much for the wonderful stay!!!!

The house was beautiful! Most days it was hard to get out to explore because we felt so at home. We played pac man and pool. We enjoyed the hot tub and sitting on the deck listening to the birds. It’s about 1/2 out to pigeon forge where we played a ton of mini golf! The house was very well stocked and the hosts are wonderful! We loved the apple muffins from the mix that was left for us. (I had to go to the apple barn to pick up more!) can’t wait to visit again! Thank you
