About this house rental
Magnificent house for rent on the shores of Lake Annecy with breathtaking views of the lake and the mountains. This 250m2 house can comfortably accommodate 12 adults, ideal for holidays with family or friends. Fully fenced garden with large sunny terrace and petanque court with lake and mountain view.
the real plus: 200m2 private beach. You benefit from an open veranda to enjoy meals day and night, with small summer kitchen and charcoal barbecue. Sun loungers available. You just have to cross the road to get there.

Large entrance hall leading to a laundry room with washing machine and dryer
On the 1st floor:
Spacious living room of 60m2 with large bay windows to enjoy the view composed of a living room, dining room, fully equipped open kitchen (access to terrace with garden furniture and table/chair + petanque court by the dining room)
1 bedroom with 2 single beds (90x190) and 1 bar bed
1 bathroom with Italian shower, double sink
1 bedroom with double bed 140x190
1 master suite with double bed 160x200 with bathroom, bath and shower

Overall, we had a wonderful stay and would recommend this property. The house is exactly as pictured, with beautiful lake views. The private lake access was the highlight of our trip, and the kids loved jumping into the lake from the dock. The four updated bathrooms & comfortable beds were also a nice feature.A few things future guests should know: although there are four bathrooms, there are only two toilets. This worked fine for our group of nine, but larger groups may want to keep it in mind. The house is on a busy road, so during warmer months, when the windows are open, traffic noise is noticeable. There are only four fans for six bedrooms, and no lake toys or equipment are provided.The kitchen and bathrooms could also be stocked a little better with essentials like hand soap (by every sink), dish detergent, and toilet paper (full rolls).The reason for my four-star rating was the owner's response to a maintenance issue. There was an ant problem in the kitchen, bathroom, and a couple of bedrooms. When we reached out, we were told there hadn't been an issue previously and that ant traps were unavailable because they were in another town. While pests can happen, a more helpful response would have been appreciated.Overall, this is a beautiful lakefront home with amazing views and private lake access. With a few small improvements and more responsive support, it would easily be a five-star rental.
