The Stow Horse Fair is held twice a year, typically on the Thursday closest to 12th May and the Thursday closest to 24th October, however, we would recommend checking the exact date ahead of placing your booking. This is a traditional fair for gypsies and travelling people to meet up and trade which dates back to 1476 when its Charter was granted. Stow is very busy for a day or two before and after each fair, and a number of shops, pubs and restaurants are closed. Whilst many visitors enjoy the colour and vibrancy associated with the fairs, other visitors prefer to avoid Stow on these dates
Charging electric vehicles at this property is not permitted

This is our 3rd stay in this property. Although more modern than the quintessential Cotswolds cottage it offers very comfortable accommodation in a cosy cottage. The sitting room is a reasonable size and has plenty of comfy chairs and settee, even a fur bean bag which my 2 dogs love. The property is light and airy and has everything needed apart from a dishwasher,as we don't cook a lot on holiday so we didn't find this a problem. Upstairs are three comfortable bedrooms and a pleasant bathroom. We love the situation of this cottage, close to many pretty villages and with beautiful walks directly from the door. The Fox pub in lower Oddington is nice and staff are friendly ,the pub around the corner didn't appear to be open when we were last there. I would certainly go again and recommend to friends.

Mulberries is a lovely house, beds a really good size (and comfy). Excellent shower. Kitchen had everything we needed and lovely to have some milk in the fridge and treats for when we arrived. Dining table was a bit small for 4 people so would be better if it was a bit bigger. We visited in February so as it was too cold to be outside much so we stayed in and enjoyed some of the games from the cupboard. Good location, easy to find and perfect base for exploring the Cotswolds.

We had a lovely time! There was absolutely everything we needed and more. It was clean, cosy and welcoming, in a great location for exploring the Cotswolds. Thank you hopefully we will be back!

A few mixed feelings. Some lovely furniture pieces and very comfortable upstairs with good size rooms and very comfy beds and lovely bedding. The sofas were uncomfortable and to be fair need to be replaced. The oven was very poor with the lower oven not working. The dining table is unsuitable for 5 people dining around it. As its a dog friendly cottage it would be more practical to have vinyl or laminate flooring rather than carpet. There were lots of books and it was very cosy. We did very much enjoy our stay and the owner was very kind to us. The village local pub closed for refurb but not too far to the next village or into stow.
