About this house rental
Just off of beautiful Taylor Square, this two-bedroom, one-bath townhouse has everything you could want in a vacation home. Within walking distance to all Savannah has to offer, you’ll simply have to pick a direction to begin your day of exploration.
The first floor of this home has a spacious living area with plenty of comfortable seating and a large flat-screen TV, so you can spend some time catching up on your favorite shows. The dining table seats four and is right next to three floor-to-ceiling bay windows overlooking the private courtyard. The adjacent kitchen has been fully renovated and has a modern subway-style backsplash and stainless steel appliances. You’ll find additional seating and a grill outside, perfect for a gathering of family and friends.
Upstairs you’ll find both bedrooms, each with their own access to the balcony through matching French doors. The first bedroom has a king-sized bed while the second has two twin beds. The shared bathroom has a shower/tub combo and pedestal sink.
If you do bring a pet to this dog-friendly home, you'll be in a great location to walk over to Mother Matilda Beasley, the only dog park in the Historic District. A short walk to beautiful Jones Street will bring you to Clary’s Cafe, the setting for several breakfast scenes in Midnight in the Garden of Good and Evil, and a favorite breakfast spot for locals and visitors alike.

Four sisters for 4 nights. The secluded garden courtyard is fantastic!(although we missed the large umbrella shown in the pictures which was not present during our stay). The carriage house has a comfortable layout and a well-appointed updated kitchen (Be aware that oddly the small microwave was set on a self well above the height many adults and all children). The house is comfortably furnished and decorated w/real art so visually appealing. We did find it dimly lit (a combination of low wattage, and in the bedrms non-working overhead lights). None of that would deter us from returning. We loved the location, the layout of the space and the convenient street parking. And of course, the private courtyard!

Thanks for allowing us to enjoy your home. It is well appointed, comfortable and the location is perfect. We enjoyed the courtyard and coffee in the park. The only thing I would change is lengthening my stay! Thank you and the city for true southern hospitality!

We have stayed in many VRBO properties and had a mixed experience with this rental. Things we really liked: the backyard patio was beautiful, the location was great, the kitchen was very functional, the service by Lucky Savannah was very good. Things we disliked: the lighting throughout the house was poor and dim, despite being mentioned by previous tenants (not bright enough to even read under). The living room lamps were totally not up to the task; the apartment was not particularly clean. Things we strongly disliked: the living room couch smelled so badly we avoided using it, the mattress in the main bedroom was so soft and yielding it felt like a waterbed - I had to sleep in the single bed. For the price, we expected better.
