Comfortable Carson National Forest Cabin
This beautiful, well-stocked and recently updated mountain home is just waiting to welcome your family for some prime mountain time with all the luxuries of home. Great kitchen table seats 6, island bar top seats 4, and second bar seats 4 more! Everything you love about being out in the woods; in summer, camprife smells, dewy mornings, cool evenings and wildflowers, in the winter, the incredible quiet and the glow of the snow in the trees under a full moon - it's just a mile an change from Taos Ski Valley ski resort base area village for world class skiing and European ski heritage, a and all kinds of summer/fall recreation.
After a great day any time of year, head in for a blissful night's sleep on high quality beds and bedding. Two full bathrooms. Beautiful second level wood decks with adirondack chairs put you right in the middle of the forest. In summer, birds and butterflies will be winging past, deer or elk could walk right by, and in winter watch for fox, hares, Jays and corvids. Watch the Aspens change color while you sip your morning brew. If it's too cold on the porch, from the kitchen table you look out the big windows look across the Hondo river valley canyon.
A propane gas grill, 6 person hot tub and large entertaining livingroom with large smart TV makes this the perfect home for a great getaway. 4WD/AWD REQUIRED IN WINTER (NOV-APRIL)

This was our first time in the Taos/Red River area and the Amizette Mountain House made the experience even more enjoyable! Nestled in the perfect area - close by Taos Ski Valley, we enjoyed our time hanging out at the house and enjoying the temps & beautiful views! It was a great distance from all the towns & attractions. The house was beautiful, had everything you needed for your stay, & was extra cozy! The property managers were easy to contact and made sure we had everything we needed for our stay! Such a fun & beautiful place! Highly recommend!!
