Rabbit’s Rest was a wonderful home base for our 11-day stay in Bend. My husband and I stayed here with our two pre-teens and were genuinely comfortable the entire time. The home is spacious, thoughtfully laid out, and very well suited for a family.
The loft (which stays quite toasty — heat rises!) and the bunk bedroom downstairs (noticeably cooler) worked perfectly for everyone. The unit includes a full bathroom, a cozy living room with a gas fireplace, a balcony, and a nicely appointed kitchen that made it easy for us to cook most of our meals. There is also convenient under-the-stairs storage that was perfect for keeping all of our gear organized.
The unit was very clean upon arrival. While there is no daily maid service, everything was well-maintained and clearly cared for. The Mt. Bachelor Village condominium complex itself is clean, quiet, and well laid out, with excellent amenities including a seasonal pool and year-round hot tubs, which were a great bonus after long days out.
The location is excellent — just off Century Drive with easy access to Mt. Bachelor, the Old Mill District, and downtown Bend. One of our favorite features was having walking trails right outside the front door, leading down to the Deschutes River.
Overall, Rabbit’s Rest felt welcoming, comfortable, and well-located. We would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it to families or anyone looking for a cozy Bend getaway.

Had a great time in Oregon. The accommodation was perfect for our family of four. Close to everything we wanted to do. Reservation was easy. Communication before and during our stay was fantastic. Would definitely stay again.
