About this apartment rental
The apartment "Vista Castello" is located in a very sought after and quiet location of BAVENO, ideal starting point for excursions to Lake Maggiore!
Numerous hiking trails that lead to the well-known hiking area below the "Mattarone", start directly above the apartment.
A trip to the picturesque "Orta San Giulio" on Lake Orta or to the LAGO DI MERGOZZO (absolute insider tip) is highly recommended!
The bright and very tastefully decorated apartment has a private outdoor terrace with patio, umbrella, sun loungers and stunning panoramic views of the lake, the Borromean Islands and the historic "Villa Branca" and the "Castello del Acqua".
The apartment is located on the 1st floor and is easily accessible by lift or via a large staircase. To the park and sea side, the apartment is at ground level.
You enter the apartment in a small hallway with antique bench and a storage rack.
The bathroom with shower, toilet, bidet and a large sink is located next to the entrance of the apartment.
The cozy double bedroom with large mirror cabinet is especially great, because you wake up in the morning with the unique view of the park down to the lake!
The kitchen, which can be cleverly hidden behind a sliding door during the day, is practical and at the same time equipped in the smallest of spaces.
The open living area is spacious and decorated with taste.
There is a comfortable sofa bed, armchair, TV, stereo, a desk and the covered veranda with dining area and an exclusive panoramic view. Even if it rains, you can enjoy a meal, a glass of wine or just the view "just like in the open air".
The guests have FREE INTERNET via WLan!
The apartment also has a private garage!
"Vista Castello" is just 300 meters from the beautiful lakeside promenade and the ship berth.
Many destinations can be easily reached by boat.
The Baveno train station is just 800 meters away ... and by train you are in the heart of Milan in about an hour.
BAVENO (about 5000 inhabitants) is a very popular resort and lies opposite the Borromean Islands.
In the village are beautiful villas from the 19th century, such. B the historic "Villa Branca", which is visible only a few meters from the apartment.
The landing stage for the boat connections can be reached wonderfully on the waterfront promenade. There are many nice cafés, bars, shops and restaurants.
Baveno is located between the famous resort of STRESA (4km away) and the picturesque bay of FERIOLO (3km away).
The beautiful village of Feriolo was once a fishing village and Steinhauerdorf and has a beautiful sandy beach for swimming.

Clean and compact apartment with everything we needed. Lovely view of some of the lake from the garden and dining room. We went in mid September and the patio was in shade from 2pm onwards which was good as it was still very hot. Five minutes walk down a fairly steep hill to the lake-side and town where the small local shop was situated. It did take a bit longer walking back up the hill! We did not hire a car so used the trains lots. The station is a 10 minute walk away. Make sure you check the timetables though as most trains only run every two hours.

Our stay exceeded our expectations! One of my best experience renting a house !Wonderfully appointed cosy apartment. Host was very generous with what was supplied, and the house was very clean and well appointed. Our experience was all positive. Coordinating with the host, Monica, was straight forward and the instructions supplied for the property were extensive. The property was accurately portrayed. It was beautifully presented and appointed right down to the luxurious linen and the artwork. Such a great indoor/outdoor setup and it worked really well for 2 couples. We really enjoyed our breakfast in the garden with such a spectacular view, it is absolutely breathtaking. We loved the place and had a great time :)
Would highly recommend to anybody who is thinking about staying here.
