The neighborhood is wonderful! Great safe place to walk around and enjoy yourself and the scenery. Large grocery store and delicious restaurants a block away! Amazing atmosphere right down the street! There`s a local park just north of the house as well with plenty of hiking trails!
There is a bus stop that picks you up directly across the street from the house. You can take it north or south for only $2 to go visit different parts of the city. Can take you all the way downtown in about 25 minutes (with stops).
The stairs going up to the master bedroom are a bit steep compared to normal steps, just FYI! It`s nothing crazy steep but they are more steep than usual.

We had an excellent stay at this well-appointed and nicely located home in Broad Ripple. Many restaurants within walking distance as well as the Monan Rail Trail. The house, built in 1936, has some squeaks and creaks, adding to its charm. Beautiful deck and fire pit with a big back yard. All four bedrooms were serviceable and the living room and enclosed porch were nice spaces as well. We would recommend and would stay again. Enjoy!

We had an outstanding stay. My family had traveled from Wisconsin to Indy to celebrate my mom's 80th birthday: my husband and I, two adult sons, one with a wife and two little kids (ages 4 and 3). This home was comfortable for our long weekend with plenty of room for everyone to sleep, use bathrooms, and have a personal space. The house is older, floors are creaky, and it's an urban neighborhood with houses close together. Not a problem but good to know. The house was a little stuffy when we arrived because it was a very warm day in early spring and the house was still winterized. The A/C cooled things down quickly and effectively. No problems after that. The beds were soft but quite comfy and everyone reported they slept well. The sheets were especially nice. Kitchen had everything we needed. The outdoor deck is HUGE and really really nice! We ended up with nice weather and really enjoyed the deck, including the string lights in the evening.We brought my 80 year old mom over for cake. She is mobile but walks with a cane and has a history of falls. She did not have a problem getting up the two front steps using the hand rail or navigating the house and deck. We alerted her about a couple of odd floor transitions so they did not become tripping hazards. Accessibility was good.Excellent day at the Children's Museum which is nearby. Holliday Park is a 5 min drive and FANTASTIC for kids! What a great park!!! We would stay here again. Thanks so much!

The house was fine, kind of small but cozy. Great location and ample parking. The kind size bed and one bath was in the upstairs attic converted space. The stairs were very steep and dangerous. I had to grip the rail going up and down especially. One guest slipped down the stairs. He had to maneuver his feet sideways and barely fit. Be careful in that space.
