Beach House Chateau West SLEEPS 5- 2 Bed 1Bath Bermy Style

We had a really lovely stay overall. The cottage is simple, comfortable, and very family-friendly, perfect for a relaxed getaway without any fuss. There are a few areas that feel a bit dated or in need of repair, plus a slight damp smell at times, but none of that took away too much from our experience. What really made the difference was the excellent, friendly communication from the host. Elizabeth was welcoming, responsive, and made everything easy. The location is also a huge highlight as it’s right across from a beautiful beach and conveniently situated on main bus routes, which made getting around super easy. With a few updates, this place could be even better, but as it stands, we’d happily stay here again.

We loved our stay at Bermuda House Chateau West. It was comfortable, clean, and had everything we needed. Location was ideal, for many reasons. John Smith Bay directly across the street within a minutes walk, bus stops within 1-2 minutes walk, and grocery store within walking distance. Our host Elizabeth was excellent at communication with answers to our questions immediately or next day. Elizabeth sent detailed information on colors and distances for bus routes, grocery stores, and help step up taxi pickup from the airport. The location was perfect but disappointed that there is no public transportation after 6pm. The property was outdated and upon arrival smelled a bit stuffy. I would recommend property manager opening house when expecting guest to check in. The property also needs a deep clean as windows and blinds were dirty.Lastly, the tub was clogged and had a very slow drain which is very inconvenient when having to deal with children.
