About this house rental
This home is a ski-in ski-out home located at the end of Chutes Lane, which is a heated street, above the Schweitzer Village. There is a ski path located directly to the Village next to the house for easy access by ski or by foot. Ski directly to the front door. Unbelievable sunrise and sunset views of the lake and the mountain! Sit in your very large, 8 person private hot tub, and watch the skiers do tricks in the Stomping Grounds Terrain Park if you look up mountain, or enjoy the beautiful views of the lake if you look down mountain. The skiers are so close you can almost touch them when they ski by while you sit in the hot tub after a long day on the slopes. There are 3 bedrooms on the second level of the home, which is a private lock-off unit, all with King sized beds, and there are 2 bathrooms, and a laundry area. There is a full sized refrigerator and a kitchenette also located on the second level of the home, and a private BBQ and fire pit located outside on the 3rd level deck. The owners of the home live on the 3rd level, and will be present all Winter in case you need anything, but the rental space on the second level is completely private, and it has a keypad security system. The only shared space is the stairway and the garage, which is used as a private ski locker for our guests with plenty of room for all your ski equipment, and plenty of racks for hanging up clothing. Parking for 3 cars is available for renters in the heated driveway. This home has a 3 night minimum stay policy. It is very important to understand that this rental is for the second floor of the home ONLY, which is a private lock-off 3 BD/2 BA with kitchenette, not the entire home. This was our second family skiing vacation to Schweitzer. This rental was absolutely fabulous. Conveniently located, easy ski in and out with lovely views. Kirk went out of his way to communicate and help making our trip a success. Definitely would arrange to stay here again.

Prime location for ski in/ski out. Beautifully styled with a private hot tub deck that overlooks Pend Oreille Lake. The property owners, Kirk and MJ, are so hospitable and friendly. Convenient access to the village. Next time we come back to Schweitzer Mountain, we will definitely check availability of this property first.
