We are so excited to open our family home to you- we have put so much love into making this place truly somewhere special.
At the Boney Falls Bungalow, you will find that while very spacious and accommodating, there is also no shortage of coziness. We have 4 large bedrooms with soft linens, comfortable beds, and stunning views. Our home sits on a very large plot of private land, right in the heart of Cornell, MI. Our space provides endless possibilities for outdoor games, bonfires at night while stargazing, a kayak around Boney Falls Basin, quiet and peaceful mornings with coffee enjoying the serenity from any one of our three decks, a full day of fishing, and so, SO much more.
We are an easy day trip to popular destinations like downtown Escanaba, Pictured Rocks National Lakeshore, downtown Marquette and others! Although if you plan to just stay in and enjoy your time exploring right outside the front door, we don't blame you! Our location offers wonderful fishing directly from the backyard, you can leave on your ATV/ORV right from the front door and hit trails, we even have a kayak rental business right across the street. It really has it all!
Our fully renovated home comes with everything you need for a relaxing, worry-free vacation. Our large, fully stocked kitchen is ideal for entertaining, or making a large homecooked meal. The bedrooms and bathrooms are spacious and include all the linens you will need. We offer a host of family games as well as roku smart TV's for entertainment and an extra-large dining table to enjoy them at!

We’ll. Some concerns. Gunfire from across the street on arrival. VERY LOUD party across street on8-23 lasted till 5am with partiers wandering on this property. Hot water scalding. Difficult to regulate water temperature in downstairs shower. No place to launch kayaks or canoes. Lost power for a few hours one day, but host delivered water and candles quickly. On a positive note house is beautiful inside and view of lake and dam nice. Deer in yard almost every morning. Good shopping at nearby Amish stands. Very nice golf courses nearby. Good fishing on bay. Lots of sightseeing and touristy stuff around. Well you asked for it. Other wise all nice.

Great stay if you’re looking for a private, relaxed environment! My adult family stayed for 6 days/5 nights with our 2 dogs and it was the perfect getaway from the craziness of life! The property is beautiful, the provided kayaks/canoe were so appreciated, and the firepit offered a relaxing way to spend the evenings. The kitchen was spacious and well-stocked with cooking tools, so we were able to prepare meals!Our hosts were wonderful and responsive. They have really thought of a lot of make this stay special - providing games (indoor and outdoor), firewood (please donate to the donation fund!), and open living spaces. Please note, this is a relatively REMOTE area - the nearest grocery (Dollar General) is about a 15-20 minute drive. There aren’t many restaurants (which we were fine with). Additionally, this is a beautiful but old home - as such, the AC does not reach the 2nd floor well. This is aided by opening the windows and the provided fans. But given 3/4 bedrooms are on the 2nd floor, this is important to point out - especially because one bedroom has no windows and can get hot quickly. We will definitely consider staying here again!!
