Unique listing - totally private room (former garage) and patio. Decorated beautifully. Comfortable couch (did not use sleeper sofa). Bed and bedding were also very comfortable. I just slept there - visited family all day. Was able to make an appointment to meet and give treats to the animals on site. Kyle was very helpful and gave lots of info on the animals. I recommend doing that.Checkin wasn't easy due to the fact that it was dark (9:30pm when I arrived). We couldn't see a street number so wandered around a bit. Then it took awhile to unlock the lock box etc. Locking the door was tricky - the key was hard to remove (WD40?) It was my first VRBO stay so this was all new to me. I enjoyed it.

This guesthouse is in a beautiful neighborhood with all the conveniences to make your stay excellent. The guesthouse is very private, gorgeously decorated, extremely clean and has everything you need to make your stay comfortable. We chose to fix some meals and the kitchen was great. The deck is enclosed and private with very comfortable furniture. We visited Santa Barbara one day, watching the surfers at Malibu Beach another and attended a wedding, which was the purpose for our visit. There's so much to do and see in the vicinity. This could very well be the best guesthouse we have stayed, it was that great!

My daughter and I loved this apartment. It was incredibly clean and modern. The kitchen was stocked with everything you could need. The private patio was very nice - we didn't get a chance to use the fire pit as our schedule was too busy, but wish we could have! The bed was comfy and there was plenty of storage for our bags and clothing while we were there for 4 nights. I loved that there were lots of towels and washcloths to use. The host, Todd, was very easy to communicate with and helpful if we needed anything. The home is in a beautiful area with a park nearby. On our last morning, we said hello to the animals on their mini farm which was such a fun experience. I would absolutely stay here again, it was great.
