About this apartment rental
Located in the heart of uber-chic Saint-Germain des Prés, this triplex apartment near the École des Beaux-Arts and the river offers a unique taste of one of Paris’s most historic neighborhoods with panoramic views over the city rooftops from a private terrace.
The apartment is furnished in a comfortable Art-Deco style and consists of a living/dining room, separate kitchen and WC on the entrance level.
The apartment is fully air-conditioned throughout the three levels, which is extremely rare in Paris.
There are 2 bedrooms, one on the lower floor with king bed and ensuite bathroom including a claw-foot tub (with shower over) and WC, and a dressing/laundry room with washer/dryer. The second top-floor queen bedroom, which may once have been used as an artist’s studio, offers an en suite bathroom with shower and WC. This bedroom gives on to a private terrace with stunning views over the rooftops of Paris to the Eiffel Tower, the Louvre, the towers of Notre-Dame and the Sacré-Cœur. The perfect spot to enjoy an evening drink and watch the sun set over the great monuments of the City of Light.
The three levels of the apartment are linked by an interior antique wooden staircase. Navigating between levels may be difficult for guests with reduced mobility so please consider this prior to booking.
The neighborhood is steeped in history. Just steps away lies the famous La Palette café which, at the turn of the last century, offered talented young artists from the nearby Ecole des Beaux-Arts free meals in exchange for paintings. Among these artists were Cézanne, Braque and Picasso. One of the restaurant’s two dining rooms is classed as an historic monument and still contains celebrated works by artists who dined there more than a century ago. Our family stayed for a week and were absolutely in love with the apartment and its location. The location is walking distance to many, many amazing restaurants and dining options, the metro, and Notre Dame and the Louvre. There is plenty of privacy, quiet for sleeping, comfortable beds and couches, and the bathrooms are large with excellent showers/ baths. The kitchen, although small, is fully functional and met our needs. The rooftop provides amazing views of the Eiffel Tower and surrounding city, especially at night. It was hot (summer so to be expected) but at night was perfect with a glass of wine to relax after a day of exploring and experiencing Paris. We rate our experience an 11/10 and highly recommend both the host and the apartment.

This apartment is incredible - the character and the warmth make you feel like you're at home, the views are absolutely unbeatable, and the location is phenomenal. The rooftop terrace is lovely and being able to lay in bed at night and watch the Eiffel Tower feels like a dream. We stayed with our two kids and they loved the spiral staircases and the views, and we spent some lovely evenings on the Pont des Arts bridge listening to music and enjoying the sunsets. Our whole stay at this apartment really did feel magical and made our trip to Paris so special, and we hope to get the chance to stay here again in the future!

This was our 2nd stay at this beautiful and comfortable apartment. The location is terrific. The views from the rooftop deck, upstairs bedroom, and even the kitchen window - fabulous. The hosts were super communicative about our arrival, check-in process, etc. We arrived early but they set things up so we could drop off our bags at the apartment until check-in time, which was very much appreciated. It did turn hot in Paris during our stay, and we very much appreciated the AC. In short - we loved staying here and hope to return soon.
