About this house rental
Spacious ranch style open floor plan ,located on a corner lot. With lots of parking and space for 2 boats.. There are three bedrooms, with sleeper sofa.- Sleeps 8. Two bathrooms, a laundry room, a large fully modernized kitchen, a large fully furnished living room and a den. Large backyard with 9-foot deep pool. Six miles from famous New Orleans French Quarter. Chalmette battleground site of the 1812 Battle of New Orleans approximately 1.5 miles. Val Riess baseball complex 2 miles. Gateway to the greatest fishing grounds in America. (Owner's unit attached to main house, used by owner's when in town. This is not part of VRBO rental)

There wasn't a dining table for the 6 of us. Important on our trip as we have our own chef. We improvised with a folding patio table outside that we brought in. Living room of couches were older so the comfort was compromised. Adding an actual bathroom door in the primary would be nice. Kitchen appliances top grade, plenty of utensils, neighborhood nice and quiet. Pool was pretty. We did have a good time.

This was a lovely home in a safe, quiet neighborhood. The accomodations were great and the host was fantastic. There are definitely some much needed upgrades in the house and the pool filter not being ran consistently were my only concerns! Otherwise, everything was wonderful and we plan to return in the summer to use the pool more!
