On the shores of the lake in La Mine, this chalet is set in a wooded area where calm, space and nature set the tone.
We are surrounded by forest, far from the noise, but ± 15 minutes from Baie-Saint-Paul.
The kind of place where you arrive… and settle in.
The chalet can accommodate up to 8 people and offers 3 bedrooms, including one on the mezzanine, as well as a sofa bed located in living room 2 (family room), for a total of 4 beds.
The spaces are designed for living together without getting in each other's way. A large living area on the ground floor includes the kitchen, dining room and a living room.
Moreover, two lounges allow for a variety of atmospheres, one of which is on the garden level with a wood-burning stove, perfect for evenings when the temperature drops outside.
Room layout:
Ground floor: kitchen, dining room and living room grouped together in a single living space, as well as a full bathroom with bath and shower.
Mezzanine: a bedroom with a queen bed and a bathroom.
Garden level: living room with wood-burning fireplace and sofa bed, bathroom with laundry facilities, and two bedrooms, each furnished with a queen-size bed.
Outside, everything invites you to enjoy the grounds bordering the lake: places to sit, outdoor dining, quiet moments watching the water or the surrounding forest.

On-site activities include hiking, kayaking, fishing, cross-country skiing and snowshoeing, in addition to direct access to snowmobile and ATV trails.
The lake is ideal for contemplation and fishing (permit required), and a rowboat is available for those who want to glide gently on the water.
As for exploration, Charlevoix is within easy reach by road:
→ Baie-Saint-Paul, approximately 15 minutes away
→ Charlevoix Casino, approximately 20 minutes away
→ Grands-Jardins National Park ± 20 minutes away

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this very nice lake house. The house was impeccably clean and very well equipped with everything we needed, and the owner was very helpful and quick to respond. The location was perfect for us because it's close to many great places to hike. Highly recommended!
