Our group of friends had a great first trip to Broken Bow. The Summerwoods cabin was a beautiful home. That being said, from the first day, there was a huge yellow jacket issue. There were 4-5 in each bathroom. There was no warning and we did have a friend get stung the first day. From then on, we were all nervous to use the bathrooms. We killed at least 15 yellow jackets during our stay with shoes because there was no product or fly swatter to help the issue. I reached out and the manager was apologetic, but that doesnt make it ok to spend this much money and feel anxious and rushed every time you have to go into a bathroom.
I hope the management team is able to get the issue under control. It is a beautiful space but I wouldn’t stay again in that scenario. And I would want anyone who has an upcoming stay to be prepared.
