Beauty and the beach gets a ten star rating for being comfortable well appointed with cozy beds and every item necessary for an amazing vacation at Cocoa Beach. The view of the ocean on the balcony is stunning! We enjoyed a falcon rocket launch on the final day of our stay! Kelly & David July 10-14

The exterior of The Diplomat is run down, dirty and in desperate need of total remodel. The stairwells are unsafe. Not only are they dark but the concrete steps are uneven, narrow and literally disintegrating. The unit itself was ok however, the WiFi was spotty and we could not access streaming services on the one TV. There was also only 1 key provided to access the beach, pool and laundry facility which made logistics incredibly difficult for 5 people on different schedules. The pull out couch mattress was stained as was some of the furniture. The host was very responsive but not always helpful. We shared that we couldn’t get the streaming to work on the TV and he said that everyone just watches cable so he wasn’t sure. It is 2026, people expect to be able to watch Netflix. On a positive note, the beachfront view is beautiful and it is easy to access the beach.
