About this villa rental
In the heart of the Landes Natural Park, in Moustey, on a magnificent, secluded, rolling 1.6-hectare property called “Le Moulin d’Hourtoy”—dotted with century-old oak trees and bordered by rivers—welcomes you year-round, featuring a heated pool, spa, and gym, with linens included—perfect for vacations, private events, or business gatherings. Access to the mill is via a forest path—it’s not uncommon to come across wildlife there!!! So keep your eyes peeled

The Main House (14 people) A beautiful 280m² traditional Landes-style wooden home, elegantly decorated, well-maintained, and comfortable. Its large fireplace, living room, spacious dining table, kitchen, and foosball table make this space a very welcoming place to gather.
Its 6 bedrooms, sleeping area, 4 bathrooms, and restrooms offer you a high level of comfort. Beneath a magnificent traditional wooden roof structure, you’ll find a lovely home theater area.
Just a few meters from the main house, a 40-square-meter chalet (4–6 people): 1 bedroom with a queen-size bed and two bunk beds, living room with a sleeper sofa (for two people), wood-burning stove, kitchen with a high table, bathroom with shower, and an outdoor terrace with a table and sun lounger.
Also just a few meters away, next to the pool, is a 17-square-meter fitness room overlooking the river, equipped with a bike, rowing machine, treadmill, and weight bench… Only top-of-the-line equipment.
Its winter and summer lounges, bocce court, and billiards table, along with its 300 m² terrace at the foot of the great oak trees overlooking the river, its saltwater pool (heated from April to October), and its 7-person hot tub offer the ultimate in relaxation.
Depending on your mood or the season, you can choose to dine indoors or outdoors—whether by the plancha grill, the fire pit, or on the spacious, shaded terrace.
If you love wide-open spaces and tranquility, this property is made for you… The local flora and fauna are the guardians of this place. You’ll fall under its spell—a haven of peace nestled in a lush green setting. Mushroom hunters will be in heaven!!! Many animals (wild boars, deer, squirrels, etc.)… come to visit us. For the more active among you, enjoy the wide-open spaces, forest trails, and the Petite Leyre River.
Canoes are available for your use, as well as hiking, fishing, mountain biking, running, horseback riding, and motorcycling.
By reservation, enjoy a forest outing in a 6-seater Polaris Ranger, day or night (optional).
You can rent the 6-seater Polaris Ranger for trips between the mill and the parking lot, as well as for forest excursions.
Subject to availability and by reservation, you can enjoy a variety of wellness services (yoga, relaxation, and massages).

Since the Moulin is located deep in the forest, cell service isn’t very reliable—especially inside the house—but the entire property has Wi-Fi coverage.
