Odamar Órzola apartament

We stayed with our 2 children for a long weekend to get some sun and relaxation. Walking distance to some restaurants, the ferry and grocery store. A short drive to a breaking beach with descent waves. We drove 10/15 minutes to the next town over for more waves and beachside restaurant and play park. Only 40 drive from the airport with sea views the entire drive. A simple space but clean and functional... only complaint is that there was barely enough hot water for one shower let alone 4 of us!

This apartment is in a great location right at the sea front. Only a few minutes walk from the village shop which has all the basics and a choice of about 5 local restaurants. There is a small, sheltered beach right by the apartments which is ideal for young kids. A ten minute walk away is a choice of more beautiful, sheltered inlets and beaches. This apartment was basically but well equipped and very clean. It has a great roof terrace as well as the balcony. Great location for those wanting to go walking, cycling, surfing etc and of course for heading over to the beautiful island of Graciosa -a short ferry ride from Orzola. The only negative about the place was that the apartment is a bit echoey inside.

The owner doesn't seem to live nearby so a neighbour, Juan Antonio, and his partner look after the place, greet new guests and sort out any issues. They are brilliant, very helpful, very friendly, very responsive. The flat was very very clean, all the appliances looked pretty much brand new, and all the basics were provided. The only things I would add if it were my flat: soap in the bathroom, a cafetiere or other coffee filter provision, a serrated bread knife. The balcony looks out over the sea, and the nearest beach and swim spot is 20 m away. Several nice restaurants and a couple of corner shops / small supermarkets in the village, and despite Órzola being the departure point for the La Graciosa ferry, the flat is at the quiet end of the village. We'll be back!
