The century-old former storefront, department store and jewelry store is now home to a 3,000-square-foot modern loft on the upper floors with plenty of natural light, open space in the heart of historic downtown New Albany, Indiana. New Albany has seen a recent revitalization and is less than 10 minutes from downtown Louisville but with a unique charm all its own.
The Loft is located on the second and third floors of a historic building that was formerly as jewelry store and even a department store in the 1940s and 50s. It has three bedrooms and two and a half baths. An additional twin beds in upper open loft. Additional VRBO loft space available next door (596733) sleeping up to 14. Please inquire.
Restaurants, a winery, breweries, boutiques, the Ohio River Greenway and the YMCA are all located on the surrounding blocks. Two cruiser bikes with baskets are available for use to explore downtown and the riverfront.

This was one of the best experiences I have had using VRBO. The property was everything that was advertised and more. It worked perfectly for 6 guys to visit the bourbon trail. Property was clean and had everything we needed for our stay and more. Kitchen was stocked well with things we needed to cook at the property. If you don’t want to cook there are many places to eat in the neighborhood or a short drive to Louisville. No trouble with parking in the neighborhood. Literally can walk anywhere. I can’t say enough about how nice New Albany was to stay. The host Jess was fantastic to work with and very responsive. We will 100% be staying here again on our next bourbon trail adventure!

Six of us enjoyed a Sisters' Weekend at this great location in down town New Albany We parked the van in the garage and never had to return to the van during our stay. Dining, walking, shopping . . . and more dining were all within walking distance.The space is well equipped with kitchen supplies, the bedrooms are very comfortable with plenty of linens, space for personal belongings and refreshing shower amenities.Thermostat adjustments were suggested and controlled by the guests. Any other needed accommodations required only a text or call . . . although the place was SUPER and VERY COMFORTABLE we needed no assistance!This place was a SUPER stay to enjoy all New Albany has to offer!!

Jess was very responsive to all messages sent. She allowed us to have an earlier check in and later checkout. Her husband Matt met us as we entered into the dwelling. He immediately met a request that we had made to decrease the temperature of the AC. This dwelling is a gem in the heart of New Albany. Very close to Louisville. I would definitely stay here again.
