About this cottage rental

Splash Inn is a cute little cottage located on all sports Cowden Lake. It has a beautiful view on the lakefront property. It is just the right fit for your family or a few friends on a getaway retreat! Enjoy swimming, fishing, boating, and just relaxing. After a day in the water, you can watch the sunset while enjoying a fire.

On the main floor, you will find a living room, 2 bedrooms (1 queen/1 full with twin bunk) and a full bath. On the newly remodeled lower level you will find an open area containing a loveseat (with hide-a-bed), kitchen, island, gathering area, and table. Also a half bath is on the lower level. Both levels provide excellent viewing of the lake.

Photos are of the beach right from the front yard of the cottage. You have your own beach for swimming and dock for fishing or to tie your boat up to!

You may have use of 2 complimentary kayaks and a paddle boat upon request! Additional kayaks available at $25.00.

Cowden Lake is located in Montcalm County, Michigan. This lake is 128 acres in size. It is approximately 50 feet deep at its deepest point. When fishing, anglers can expect to catch a variety of fish including Bluegill, Flathead Catfish, Largemouth Bass, Northern Pike, and Yellow Perch.

We are located just 40 minutes from downtown Grand Rapids and 25 minutes to premium golfing.

Amazing lake and a beautiful lawn / beach that the kids couldn't get enough of. We caught a small blue gill nearly every single cast off the dock no matter what the time of day was. The public boat launch was great and the dock was easy to tie our small boat to. The house had a nice setup with the bedrooms upstairs and the main kitchen area downstairs for better access to the lake. Anyone with mobility issues or very small children should be aware that the inside stairway is steep and difficult, but our 3 and 5 years olds managed it well.The host was very easy to work with and communicated well, checking in to see if we needed anything as well as responding to our messages promptly. The neighbors were friendly and accommodating to our children who do not yet grasp the concept of property lines.We will definitely consider staying here again!
