About this apartment rental
Prepare the stove: Check that the stove is clean and the chimney is clear.
Use the wood that’s already laid out in front of the sauna. It’s well-seasoned hardwood (beech or oak) for a long burn time.
Loading the wood: Place small pieces of wood or kindling at the bottom of the stove and stack larger logs on top. Leave space for air circulation.
Light the fire: Use fire starters and light them. Let the fire burn well for a few minutes.
Control the fire: Close the stove door when the fire is burning strongly, and add more logs as needed.
Monitor the temperature: Check the temperature with a thermometer and wait until the desired temperature is reached.
Pour water: Carefully pour water onto the hot stones to increase the humidity.
It takes about 30 to 60 minutes to heat up the sauna. Enjoy your relaxation!
